the male assistant who is there over the weekend and the lady with pink hair both need training or sacking. they fail to realise their roles as ‘ assistants’. they are rude, immaculate in their knowledge and advice which is extremely dangerous, having no empathy or customer service, they behave as though they work in a corner shop and not in a pharmacy. they speak for and over the chemist, over patients and put patients at risk with neglectful behaviour. a full complaint and now been made to their head office and further persons of not resolved. the lady today claimed ‘ we have 400 customers’ when asking why my grandfather ( 87, housebound with dementia) medication wasn’t ready explaining it was unacceptable as though this were a good enough excuse. no regard for patients who need their medication to survive. bad representation of well pharmacy.

Amateurish approach to their job. The junior assistant (male) has no clue what customer service is. He needs to be retrained if Well is to continue to be in business as challenged by better pharmacies nearby. He really works on the basis that he is doing his customers a favour. Did you train him that way? I phoned this branch several times and not one picked up. I am aware that they may be serving customers and too busy to answer the phone. So I made sure that my several phone calls were not spread in 10 or 15 minutes but over 2 hours in order to allow for their being too busy. It did not work. And they shut the phone in my face at every call. So then I decided to drive to them some 2 miles. I got there and showed the assistant who told me that he is a student pharmacist, showed him what I want which were 3 items. He immediately said " we don't have any." I then asked him to let me speak to the pharmacist. He said that she is on her break. So, I thought that I have been trying to get hold of someone for 3 hours now and need to sit and sit for half an hour more???
He then agreed to call her which he did. Surprise surprise , one of the items I wanted to buy was in stock and sitting at him on the shelve. I bought and paid for it and told him that I am going to get in touch with his head office to tell them how he responded to my enquiry. With total disregard and a could not care attitude. I am a local customer. And have wondered why I waisted my time coming to this pharmacy.

Never answer the phone, after a couple of rings it’ll be put to “user busy” yet when I’ve been in there, there’s been no customers in the pharmacy and the phone is ringing but they will just ignore it. The place is filthy and when you ask them a question they look at you like you’re mad. Couldn’t pick my prescription up as was too poorly with mental health, so after a couple of weeks I managed to get myself there to get my prescription only to be told it had been collected, it hadn’t, but they had put it down on the system that it had. Absolute joke of a place. What happened to manners, human decency and actually getting a job done? Disgusting and I’m sick of it! Judging by the other reviews I’m clearly not the only one.

Horrendous! Not all staff but the dispenser man on Saturday 12th November doesn't know his knee from his elbow! Rude! Needed emergency medication, reluctant to give,serving everyone around me,asked my name a 1000 times to which I walked out without medication!

Update: 31-12-22
From my last review I wish to add a lot has changed.
Staff are polite and helpful.
Pharmacist went above and beyond to find liquid antibiotics for my son.
Even to herself driving around to other chemist to find some.
Unable to, she did all the communication between the chemist and my GP to prescribed something equivalent.
Can not be any more thankful.
As of today, staff have been amazing.
I don't know if there has been a shake up or a dressing down but I personally want to say a huge thank you.

Nobody EVER answers the phone, they put the phone down and take it off the ringer.
Having a disabled child it is easier for me to call before making the journey to see if my medication is there.
Staff seem to be in a world of there own. Nobody knows what the other is doing.
I thought boots on bracebridge drive was awful but this is ridiculous.

Poor customer service, very long waiting times, they don't even know what date it is and closing at 11am ? What sort of establishment is this?
Best off with an online store like Pharmacy2U who are Brilliant.

It’s a absolute joke took me over a hour to get through to see if my prescription was ready they order it for me every month this is the 2nd time in 2 months that I have had to chase up my medication when I finally got to speak to someone they told me that it hadn’t arrived and that it would have to be reordered when I said it was not acceptable due to me having only one tablet left they said come in to the branch. When I got there I asked what’s the point of having a repeat prescription service when you aren’t providing it. Then a assistant called Amy said why don’t you just order it yourself not only was this rude it was very poor consumer service when I asked for her name she changed her attitude the pharmacist gave me a week supply of my medication still waiting on the rest of my medication no apology just rudeness I wouldn’t recommend this chemist to anyone
