Hamblin's Pharmacy

I have used this chemist for over 30 years for my own monthly mediation and have four grow children that where taken there for advice now taken there own children there and would highly recommend very good staff always helpful even now with covid19 you feel that with what they have done is not just safe for them its safe for customers to .

Small store with a lovely set of regular staff, I recently had a medication review with my doctor and I was expecting my medication to be reduced, I spoke with a member of staff who has gone above and beyond to liaise with the doctor surgery who took over 5 weeks to implement the medication reduction and I have no doubt that had the pharmacy staff not advocated for me, I would still be on double the dose of controlled drugs than is necessary.
Throughout this pandemic they have been understanding and have gone above and beyond to make sure that I have not been without my medication when I have needed it.
I use the pharmacy not just for convenience but because I have been treated with respect and dignity despite the fact that I am prescribed controlled drugs and I use the pharmacy because the staff are exceptional, I only hope that this is recognised by the managers of what is now the Well pharmacy and not Hamblins as advertised on here.

I can't remember using any other chemist since living in area for 60 years.
Staff are very knowledgeable and helpful when looking for advice on medication ect.
Would recommend to everyone who live nearby.

Absolutely awful service since changing hands and getting rid of all the hamlins staff who have been there for years and actually know what they are doing! Along with their massive queues I waiting an hour for a prescription its ridiculous!

Unfortunately I had to update my original review , this was a great pharmacy, with great staff , since its takeover by a huge profit making chain who's attitude stinks they have destroyed it in a matter of months , I have had to change my pharmacy as it became unreliable, closing because of no pharmacist , huge queuing for items . To answer a comment which was made by member of this company, no, the locals won't get used to such a shabby service they will go elsewhere.

There was good advice available and helpful staff but now that they have changed to Well the service is awful. Won't be using this pharmacy anymore which is such a shame. If I could give less than 1 star I would.

Since they have changed to wellbeing the service has been terrible due to the lack of a pharmacist staff are doing there best in keeping people updated but the pharmacist doesn't show have changed to another pharmacy

Where brilliant before they changed hands now they are terrible, always people having to queue.
