Opening hours online say shuts at 18:30.
I turn up at 17:59 and they refuses to serve me.
Saying those times online are wrong... I’d walked half way across city at this point and needed these tablets because of pain. Which I nicely explained. They didn’t seem to care. Bit disappointing really

I have collected my prescription from Lawson Rd Boots pharmacy for many years but have just set up the 'pharmacy2U delivery service. Im altogether a little sad really as I won't be making my monthly visit any longer..All the staff are very caring to your needs ,friendly and helpful. I just wanted to say a big Thank You for the important job you do ,especially through the pandemic. Kind Regards Bob.

Late opening up every time I've been and slow service. Use another pharmacy if you can.

I have been at the Lawson Road GPs for most of my life, so naturally get assigned to pick up prescriptions from this place.

It seems like a good idea that they send the prescription straight to the pharmacy, so they can get it ready.

Except.....THEY NEVER DO THAT!!!! Every time, you go in, they take an eternity to find the script, then they have to go and find the medication. It's insane. Even when it's been there for a week. Just defeats the point.

Absolutely horrendous service! They never answer the phone. When you do arrive to pick up your prescription they’re closed! Or they don’t have the stock to fulfil prescriptions. So inconsistent! It’s a joke! Manager has zero customer service skills and despises if you query anything. They have a sign about showing the staff respect, but the managers behaviour is very contradicting of this sign. I only go to this pharmacy because its location within the surgery is convenient, however, the surgery is just as bad! Time for a change!

Absolutely terrible customer service! Rude doesn’t even cut it! Avoid this pharmacy at all costs, my son went for a flu vaccine today with a voucher we apparently could only use to make payment online, I was contacted while he was there and I explained that there wasn’t an option to pay online but ok go ahead and do the vaccine and we will pay full price and contact head office to claim the voucher back….. once off the phone the lady went ballistic accusing me of abusing her etc etc!! Several customers heard her outburst and were flabbergasted! Tone it down love! If you are the face of a pharmacy, you need to learn customer service!! Training most definitely needed here!

After a year of collecting my prescriptions at this pharmacy with no problem the manager decided to interfere.. never received a text to say it was ready anymore. Only certain items would be there. It was never ready at the same time. I was left without my daily medication twice.

Staff are always so polite, knowledgeable and efficient. Good range of boots essential items for sale. This is a weeny branch so if you're looking to buy something specific then head into the city.
