I dont find staff at all helpful and pharmacy team keep you waiting a while to get a prescription off a shelf. Hardly use much prefer other chemist's for convenience and polite staff at least goes a long way

Young lady was very helpful over the phone. Difficult job in times of increased work capacity.

I went in this shop last Friday 30 .7 21 .as I wanted to speak to the pharmacist his first words were is it a quick question .(not a good start ) and he was abrupt all through the conversation . I think he needs to go on a course regarding good customer service . Not exactly what you expect when seeking advice in the proffession they are paid for .

The Pharmacist was obnoxious over the phone, he was rude and confrontational and seemed to be looking for an argument. Ignorant and arrogant to say it mildly, his customer service is appalling and he is in the wrong job as he has no empathy.

I have to say the staff in this pharmacy are abrupt, rude and to some extent confrontational, as they seem to want to provoke customers with their poor attitude. On a Friday, my wife had a problem with her prescription and we were referred to the surgery. The matter was resolved with the surgery and I went in the following Monday to collect the latest prescription. Despite receiving an explanation from the surgery as to how the shortfall in tables had arisen, this was not accepted by the pharmacist, who appeared to be looking for an argument and disputed abruptly what my wife had been told by the surgery. I was told to leave the shop whilst the prescription was prepared, as other customers were waiting to come in. Rather than just hand me the prescription, the pharmacist then told me patronisingly that he needed to explain the system to me. I told the pharmacist that the surgery had explained the issue related to a shortfall of only 28 tablets on monthly scripts, when some months have 31 days. This means that over a period of months you end up with a shortfall in the number of tables. Unfortunately, the pharmacist would not accept what the surgery had told my wife. His parting shot was that if you need 30 day scripts these are not available here, which illustrates the prevailing unhelpful and obstructive attitude inherent in this branch of Boots.
