Jenny definitely knows her subject - Pilates extremely well and always ensures that it is personally adapted to the individual to meet their personal needs. I would highly recommend Jenny to anybody who is experiencing issues with their mobility and wish to see help / support.

I contacted Jenny last summer, as I had just got a new job and was feeling fat, unfit and generally self conscious. I told her that I wanted to get my middle in shape, work on some aches and pains, and generally feel better. We arranged an assessment and a series of weekly meetings at my house, switching to zoom as needed. 6 months later, I am a work in progress, but feeling very different. I practice most days in between lessons, and feel very much stronger and more stable. My posture is better, my back no longer clicks and I can feel my core muscles working. I'm getting there with my diet and regular exercise, and looking forward to being able to start running again, which I never thought would be possible. Jenny is always chatty & upbeat and is a very skilled teacher, so I look forward to our lessons. I cannot thank Jenny enough for her support, and will continue to prioritize working with her to achieve my goals.

It's amazing how a slight change in posture targets a different muscle, I can feel the difference immediately.

Thanks for your gentle support and advice I really appreciate it. You've renewed my enthusiasm for pilates, I now feel confident that my posture and technique are correct and I practice a little most days.

My work as an osteopath is very physical and I was experiencing a rib pain for months that I just couldn’t resolve on my own or with other treatment. I turned to Jenny to see if Pilates could help and within three sessions my rib pain had almost completely disappeared. Jenny has taught me how to be more aware of my posture and how to hold myself better to enable my body to function more efficiently without compensation. Jenny’s approach is so specific to the individual and I can highly recommend her. So glad I made the decision!

I had been struggling with back pain as a result of working from home and this had recently gotten worse. I spoke to Jenny about arranging a session to see if there was anything I could do to improve this.
Jenny and I had a 30 min call on Zoom, she observed how I was sitting at my desk and where my equipment was placed. After a very quick assessment Jenny suggested a number of improvements that I could make both to the way I sat and how my equipment should be positioned.
Jenny was very knowledgeable and helpful. After the call I ordered the additional pieces of equipment she had suggested and put them all in place. Very quickly I noticed that I was no longer getting back pain. I would highly recommend a session with Jenny if you are working from home, there are some very simple solutions and principles that will make sure you dont get back pain like I did. Jenny is a very professional pilate practitioner. When I explained my physical health situation, such as a posture problem and muscle pains due to working at a desk on a computer for a long period particularly during the Covid lock down, Jenny patiently explained the core principles of pilates and guided me through the basic elements step by step. After the consultation, Jenny understood my issues and swiftly came up with some programmes which I can follow and exercise at my spare time. After two sessions of pilates with Jenny, I experienced significant improvement with my physical body. I would definitely recommend Jenny to anybody who wants to relieve any muscle pains or to correct certain unhealthy posture. Jenny provided an excellent training session for our team at The Bookkeeping Department who are all now working from home. So being shown how they should be looking after themselves in an engaging and interactive way was just what we needed - and they all enjoyed it too. I feel much better knowing they have benefitted from this expertise to help them to work safely. Would thoroughly recommend this for other businesses now operating virtually or at an office base.
