I've been practicing pilates for over 10 years and have recently started attending Charlie's classes. From the very first session she made to feel so welcome. Charlie's classes give you the perfect combination of a full body workout, restoration and relaxation. Charlie has incredible intuition and can spot if you need tweaking ever so slightly in order to get the best out of any exercise whilst being mindful of any pre existing conditions or injuries. Charlie is such a warm and friendly lady and her passion for pilates and for everyone to be able to get the very best out of the class is evident. I always come away from her classes feeling stronger, healthier and energised and I would highly recommend Charlie!

I am really enjoying Charlie’s classes and since the very warm welcome I received at my first class, I am continually impressed by her knowledge and expert guidance which is given so freely to everyone. Charlie takes such care to ensure that everyone receives the best instruction for their personal situation and always with such empathy. Charlie has encouraged me to regain strength and mobility following a knee injury and I really appreciate her kindness and concern in planning a 1:1 lesson specifically to help with my long-term lung condition, which I am able to do at home daily. This has all made such a difference to my mental and physical well-being in managing the condition day-to-day.

I always feel rejuvenated and look forward to the weekly class. The best thing I did was joining Charlie’s Pilates classes!

Smitten after one session! This is peaceful Pilates combined with powerful practice. Charlie’s calm and intelligent delivery has the effect of rendering you both relaxed and happy as you rise to the physical challenges of the class. She takes the time to correct every member of the group to ensure precise Pilates movements that respect your body’s limitations whilst building key strength from the inside out. The result is an immensely rewarding power hour that leaves you buzzing for the rest of the day. Charlie’s Pilates sessions are the highlight of my week, without a doubt.

I have very bad arthritic knees on top of a gym injury and was looking for a class to help rebuild my strength. Charlie was recommended to me, and I haven't looked back. Her classes are small and friendly, tailoring your exercises to your ability and being meticulous about position. She is constantly correcting and encouraging, leaving you feeling stronger, more supple and relaxed after every class. I would definitely recommend Charlies classes to all abilities and age groups.

Charlie’s Pilates classes have changed my ability to participate in so much more in life. I no longer sit on the side lines, I can join in all the fun, whether that’s dancing, going on the bouncy castle, rock-climbing etc. Charlies’ small classes are like a one-to-one class, she works you hard, but encourages you to listen to your body. Friends have noticed how much my posture has improved. Love every class. Charlie also has a good soul.

I have now been attending Charlie’s Pilates classes for just over a year, and absolutely love them! Charlie is so positive and encouraging, with a bucket load of patience to support everyone individually in developing their technique. The lessons are challenging, but there are always suggestions to adapt exercises where needed to suit individual circumstances. My core strength has noticeably improved, and I find myself thinking about how I should be sitting or standing at various points during the day… I so look forward to my weekly class and would highly recommend Charlie’s classes to everyone, they’re great!

I have found over the years that it's not always easy to find a good Pilates teacher so I felt very lucky when a space became available in Charlie's class. Always smiley and positive, her passion for healthy movement shines through. She gets to know her clients individually and is understanding of their needs, demonstrating adaptations when necessary. She likes to make it challenging but also encourages you to 'listen to your body' and as someone who has had a hip replacement I am grateful for this and really feel whilst attending a regular class my strength and mobility are improving all the time. I wouldn't have any hesitation in recommending Charlie's classes to anyone and everyone.

I throughly enjoy Charlie’s Pilates classes and highly recommend them. I first started Charlie’s classes as a complete beginner and to help strengthen my knee following a operation to mend a break. Being new to Pilates, Charlie was supportive and dynamic in her approach with providing alternatives and one on one guidance if I struggled with a sequence or move. I started to notice a improvement in my posture and core which was really encouraging and my knee was improving too. I enjoy it so much that I now attend Charlie’s classes twice a week.
