Pizza Express

The staff were amazing 👏 friendly, helpful and efficient. Pizza express need to keep the one short wheelchair ramp but get a longer second ramp to be safer. It is quite dangerous at the moment, I almost had a nasty fall. The staff were great though and really did their best, thanks ladies 👍👍👍

Fabulous.. located just off the High Street, away from the hustle and bustle.. a real hidden gem.

Having entered we were swiftly welcomed inside and shown to a table.

The staff all appeared happy, they were polite and friendly. The restaurant had a lovely warm feeling and the decor was that of the typical Pizza Express chain.

The toilets were located up a couple of stairs, (albeit I think there is a seperate entrance to avoid stairs) the the one used was tiled floor to ceiling and clean.

The restaurant was clean and tidy, the staff were all attentive.

The food was amazing.

All in all.. well worth a visit.. We will certainly be returning, Great food & Great service.

Visited this pizza express for the first time a couple of weeks ago with my son, and it’s by the far one of the nicest restaurant experiences we have had! Lisa was excellent, so accommodating and lovely to my son.. so much so he begged to go back just because of her! The experience with her the second time was exactly the same as the first time and she remembered him, he was delighted 😊 thank you, and look forward to visiting again!

Had a wonderful experience at Pizza Express Colchester! Staff catered perfectly to my very specific needs and were patient and helpful when it came to altering very specific aspects of my meal to my preferences. As someone on the Autism spectrum, this goes a very long way. Restaurant was clean, food was perfect and presented with flourish, dough sticks arrived warm, and I was provided with whatever I asked for promptly and with no signs of impatience throughout the course of my entire visit. Really made me feel welcome.

We had a fabulous evening to celebrate a birthday. Delicious food, as always, but as importantly this restaurant has a friendly, dedicated staff. In particular, Linda our server was amazing - so attentive and caring. The manager, Emma, consistently goes above and beyond to ensure customers feel valued and are looked after. Thank you all so much x

Our daughter had a pizza making party here recently and the staff went above and beyond to create a wonderful experience for all the children. The party ran over by half an hour and yet we were never rushed, just assisted with kindness and generosity. The children had the best time and I would highly recommend it to anyone considering a children's party here in the future.

A helpful tip: Although the estimated time is 1.5 hours, if you have a larger group I would recommend to parents estimating for closer to two hours. Maybe double check with staff, before suggesting pick up times to parents.

Fantastic meal at Pizza Express. We were really happy to be served by Lisa who is always friendly, efficient, and so helpful. So nice to be greeted by a member of staff who remembers you and does everything she can to make your meal enjoyable. Their vegan pizzas are gorgeous and the piccolo menu is a bargain for children. It's my son's favourite place to eat and he was thrilled when I told him we were going!
