Pizza Express

Absolutely great meal. Lovely setting, seated right next to the river watching ducks and people punting going by as we ate.
Food was delicious, the new pizza I had (hoisin duck) was great. Dough balls lovely as always and deserts the same.
All the staff were very welcoming. Shout out for our server Matt - lovely guy and great service all afternoon.
All round, a really great time was had by all (a birthday party of six).

The worst experience ever!
1 hour waiting for a margarita pizza and it was so bad, no taste!!! And the waiter laugh about the situation, she was trying to clean the table when we ask for the rest of the food and she said the forgot to bring it because she saw us having food

I’ve been a few times to this restaurant and have always been impressed.

The staff were phenomenal. So friendly and good with my daughters.

We all really enjoyed the food and the new app means you can earn rewards each time you visit.

Ordering was super easy and I could pick a time convenient to me. The meal was pretty much ready as I arrived (as expected as I was slightly early). I was greeted and the staff were polite, friendly and helpful. Pizza express is consistently great wherever I go!

I went her again on Sat night with my father and 7 year old. We waited almost an hour for our food. There seemed to be lots of staff milling around but the service was inefficient. When my pizza finally came it was a disappointment. The pizza had sections not even covered in tomato sauce. They are clearly scrimping on ingredients to save money but it is simply not good enough. When I go out I want to eat at least as well as I do at home and you don't here. They need to up their game. I am not going back now as I have been disappointed twice here. Better to go to a local Italian restaurant that takes pride in the food it serves.

Always a pleasure eating here, got too know the menu very well I've put the pizza express app on my phone and the freebies you get are very generous things from free pizzas, free starters, free drinks, free pizza upgrades, free coffee, I've even had a free pizza express cook book , and sometimes I can get over £20 off my bill ,the service is always 1st class, the staff are always welcoming and professional, it's by far my best pizza restaurant, highly recommend

Food was great. It has been a long time since I’d been to pizza express and this lived up to my expectations. Even though we reserved, the wait queue was crazy. We waited 45 mins. We couldn’t stay for desert as we ran out of time and were in no mood to drink. Kids were starving.

Booked a table, when we arrived we were told the table would be a little late. Nearly 40 mins later without much of an explanation or apology, apart from when we chased it up, we were taken to our table. Staff seemed inexperienced and tired. Mains missed off and took a long time for everything. 2 hours 40 mins for some dough balls and pizza is not great.
