The Rustic Kitchen

4 stars for the food. Excellent burgers and pizza in a lovely place. However, 2 stars for the service. We waited for almost an hour and a quarter for our food.

Yes it was a Saturday night and fairly busy, but the wait times are awful. Either more kitchen staff needed or they need to spread out their orders so the kitchen isn't overwhelmed.

Lovely food, lovely place. Playground for the kids too.

Been here a few times. Great for the kids as there is a playground visible from the outside tables. Great for adults cos we're able to have a beer while the kiddies play. Also bizarrely almost every time we come there is some sort of festival on, either food or live music. Awesome. Plus I had one of the special burgers last time round and it was honestly in my top 3 ever. Pizza is the go to though, cos they have a dedicated pizza oven. Kiddies love it, despite their insistence on wanting pineapple pizza (which is frankly just wrong).

Food was good although the attitude of some of the young female staff was just plain bad manners and poor customer service. Vile tone. Although the food was good and very tasty.Still a one star experience. Other campers on the site said they were also spoken in vile uptight tone from a member of female staff and chose to eat elsewhere. It wasn’t just us who had been made to feel uncomfortable. Wait time was also 30 minutes for drinks and an hour and 15 for food. Lovely food and setting, so yes a big let down.

Yet to have a poor experience here. The food is good, menu decent and service always excellent. We visited on a warm Sunday afternoon and there was live music on which was very nice to sit and listen to while having a beer and some chicken wings. The kids play area is useful for restless little ones too. Occasionally we've turned up and the menu has been quite limited so perhaps phone ahead to check what is on but we love coming here and it's great to have a different dining option than the usual pub grub. For a place that specializes in pizzas and burgers they also do a mean salad.

Came here for a work function and good selection of well priced drinks (for Bewdley) nice live music although a little loud when seated so close. Food was not only delicious and fresh but the portion sizes where very ample (dont go buying a family portion of chips for 2 adults 😁) would highly recommend for lively atmosphere and great food!

Online ordered 3 take out pizzas as had heard so much about the place. Mistake - since they weren’t ready - well one was and then it took 15mins for the third to be finished by which time the first was cold and hard. The premises and bar is inviting and spacious, the one member of staff I met friendly and if you want a break from having to make conversation with your family/friends then the very loud live “singing” is a good excuse - a perfect venue for camping - which I wasn’t.

Ordered chicken strips and they use a (whole) chicken THIGH, that was apparently cooked at 155degrees so they must have left it in for half hour to look the way it did. The fries were all stuck together not shaken when put in fryer and heat was far to high as fries full of grease no potato and crispy oh but James was ok. Manager was rude when she came out, didn't take the criticism well, redone the fries and came out same as before but were in 1 less minute than before. Your oil temperatures too high. Paid just under £50 for 2 kids meals and 2 burgers and could have easily gone McDonald's and been more satisfied and had change.
