Guide Post Office

I use this post office quite a lot because it's local. But recently the young guy that works there I have noticed is so rude! He is always on his phone, just throws the parcels around and just seems to grunt at you when you are being served. Its not what you expect from a village post office and doesn't paint a good picture of young people nowadays especially when your someone of a similar age.

Easy parking, staff are very helpful and polite never had any issues. Even though this post office is some distance from me I aways use it. Our local post office staff are unprofessional and rude.

Arriving at just before 5 I was sarcastically informed the business closes at 5 to 5, that’s why some of the lights were off, although the door was open. After explaining that I arrived according to the information I found online and that it would be good to update that info, i was told the post office won’t do that not allow the local team to do it. I don’t mind the misunderstanding and out of date information. What I do mind is the sarcasm and lack of empathy. My parcels are not that important, but what if I were a person who really needed these to go. Poor form of the employee/manager for not looking out for their community simply by appearing to care.

I cannot recommend this place enough. The staff are always extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I have had some issues in the past with different Post Offices not processing things correctly or on time, but every time I visit this Post Office the service is nothing other than professional and efficient. Unfortunately I don't live close enough for Guide to be my daily Post Office as I have an online business but any opportunity I get to come here instead I do. Thank you so very much for all your help. If everyone ran their businesses this way the country would be a much better place indeed.
