Ramsbottom Post Office

I use the Drop and Go service that the Post Office offer, as I have a small business, therefore I go to Ramsbottom Post Office almost daily. The team are so friendly and work tirelessly to ensure all items are posted on time. They are always on hand to answer and questions and go above and beyond to help if I have any queries with custom forms and tracking information.
They did a great job at Christmas when they were inundated with post because of increased online ordering due to Covid-19; even offering extended hours which small businesses like mine could make use of.

It is never open when it should be. I work full time so I go out of way to make arrangements to get to the post office, like today it is meant to be closing at 130pm but it is already closed at 1pm.
Same with opening at 830am, the staff wondered in and opened at 8:50am to be told extra 10 minutes to wait until they get sorted in the back. I was quite late for work as a result.
Not sure what is going on here but its gone down hill FAST.

If I could give ramsbottom post -5 I would do the service is rubbish. They don’t listen to you. They try and not do job you ask of them. 1000% bad news

Excellent service can't remember his name but he wears glasses. He has Excellent communication skills.

Used to be great but has gone downhill. The older man is always trying to upsell. You ask to send a parcel by second class post and he pushes first class, signed for, recorded delivery, options on you. Additionally, I checked the price of a parcel on the Royal Mail website (was an eBay sale so I needed to know in advance) but when I went to the post office he tried to charge me a lot more. I showed him on my phone the price it should be. He said I was using the wrong website - that I was using the Royal Mail website for prices but that he was using the post office prices. Didn’t make any sense. He was rude and said ‘I’m not going to argue with you that’s the price’. I went to a different post office and was charged the price I’d been quoted online. So now I avoid this branch.

If you can't be bothered to open at 8.30 change your Google hours to 9.00 so people aren't waiting around for 30mins

Came here today to post some items as it was local to where I was dealing with a client so it wasn't going out of my way. However I was rudely delt with when asking for them to deal with my bulk certificate of postage so I could have proof that my orders had gone and been sent out. Now I have no proof of postage due to them refusing to stamp the paper. I have had no issues with this anywhere else. Poor service I'm very unimpressed and won't be using here again.

lost all of our small business stock due to this place, christmas gifts, just items people wanted in time for christmas. What a joke, spent all night remaking them and sending them again, SOMEWHERE ELSE. Stay away from this post office if you want your small business' stock to get to the customers on time and in the correct manner. What a joke. 0 stars i would give this place if possible.
