Cherry Hinton Road Post Office

The opening times listed here and on the Royal Mail website list the opening times of the small off-license store, not the post office counter inside which has limited opening times. It is very unclear when the post office person is there, but I believe it's around 9-5 on weekdays and 9-12.30 on Saturday and none on Sunday and back holidays. Half of the times I tried to go to this location for post office services, it was not available, which can be very frustrating. They should put a clear sign up outside and update the online information on when the post office counter is open.

Very rude and condescending staff. They do not listen to your requests, I asked for recorded delivery and they charged me for special delivery. Suggest you find another post office.

Used this post office a few times. never had a problem. Opening is an issue but that is to be expected in a day and age when we don't have proper post offices like we used to.

"The Post Office is shut for lunch".

The shop is open, the staff are available, non-post office services are performed. But if you want to post a letter you must come back in 45 minutes.

Seriously? This is 2022, right? The Post Office organisation must think that it's 1922.

I tried to pay in a £50 note to my bank account at this post office and was refused because the note is ‘too old’ according to the counter manager. I said these notes are no longer issued so they are going to be old but he was adamant he wouldn’t accept it. I then asked how old it was but he didn’t know. I then went to another post office who accepted the note without question I won’t be going back to cherry Hinton road PO anytime soon!

Worst service. Did not show the factual opening times and lost my parcel and they did not even know how to help me.

Very rude and condescending staff member. Barked the prices at me and then told me I hadn’t listened:( I thought I asked for second class signed for and he gave me standard second class. He seemed very put out that I wanted to change it🤷🏻‍♀️ I ended up apologising loads but I don’t think I did anything wrong.
