I went into this post office for the first time on Wednesday 31st August. I needed to buy a stamp and an envelope. There were two servers and a gentleman in front of me so I went to the other counter where a young woman was sitting. Before I could even make a request she rudely stated that she's not serving so I need to 'just wait'. I was a little shocked but followed her instruction and waited. I was served by a gentleman who informed me I was buying the wrong stamp for my envelope which was very helpful and I was grateful. However, while I was being served a woman came in and the lady who said she was not serving instantly called her over to be served. I was offended. I may look young for my age but I am a grown woman who deserves the same respect and treatment as other customers regardless of whether those customers look like you or not. It is bad business and will never spend a penny in their establishment again.

I have been using this post office for about 3 months now as it a nearby me so very handy to get to. However they are so rude in there I refuse to go back. Man told me it was my fault there was a queue behind me because I had so many parcels (I had 6 because the queues are so long I prefer wait until I have a few parcels and it is worthwhile waiting in the queue for so long) - just so rude and not how you should ever speak to a customer, especially when I go there almost every week.
Sad as it was convenient but I refuse to use a service where they treat you like that. G BYEEEE 🙄

I’ve been using this post office for quite a long time now. There’s a young lady that works there who is very nice, knowledgeable and friendly while other staff members are very rude with zero customer service skills. All they do is scam you into posting your items the most expensive way without any service explanation.

As most of the other posts say the staff have on multiple occasions pretend to mis-hear, lie or make up prices. After checking the royal mail website and sending a very similar parcel via the WHSmith post office, i find out i was charged for a service more than 2 times the price it should have been.

Agreed with comments. The ladies in the back looked happy to help but was served by man on the side bit. Thought it may be to do with language barrier but he took his time, had poor customer service and measured my Large Letter thinking it would be a parcel and offered the most expensive option (10x what the cost actually is). I ended up buying the biggest stamp booklet so I don't have to return there. Postcode entered was also wrong so I went back to tell him and he said it would be returned to the sender if anything which negates the point because I'm the sender. Glad to see him wearing a mask though

Service is always extremely slow, hardly ever more than 1 person on the tills. If they had a second queue for returns the whole thing would move much quicker. Instead me (& about half the people in this queue) have been waiting 25mins to effectively have a bar code scanned.

Bad service. When posting parcels they always try to charge you the most expensive service. In one occasion I had to argue in order to classify a large letter as such and not a small parcel as they wanted to charge me for. Will not go there anymore.
I am surprised Post Office is not doing anything despite all these negative coments

There is one particular member of staff who is very rude which I have experienced on more than one occasion. Just not providing basic customer service. I won't go there again. Its a shame because there is also good service from other staff members, but on this occasion the guy had absolutely no common courtesy.
