Princes Field Post Office

Phoned up about a parcel I was expecting. The seller from eBay handed my parcel in for Royal Mail to pick up. When I saw the the tracking wasn't updating, I phoned the Post Office to ask if the parcel has been picked up by Royal Mail. They were not helpful at all, I couldn't understand them because they were talking too quick and not clear enough. Then all they said was "sorry we don't do that". What does that even mean? This Post Office needs more competent staff because the conversation I had with this bloke was appalling...

Lovely small post office with efficient friendly staff. I take everything except passports here as in general the wait is shorter.

My daughter posts the same parcels all the time (tubes) and is charged a different amount everytime she goes to this post office. They don't understand what you are saying to them and you can't understand them ! What sort of service is this? My daughter will not be using this post office again as she is fed up of being ripped off !

Opens at 11am, closes at 4pm and closes for lunch from 1-2pm. What is the point of opening at all ?
Update: now open for longer but no more efficient, lazy workers. Customer there but makes them wait while the staff has a sandwich then put stock out. Unbelievably bad service.

I've been going here for years and seen many changes in the staff.
Currently have a man who is so friendly and funny, always have a laugh and chat while he serving. The only annoying thing is sometimes he's reconciling his till when you go in there or on his phone so you have to wait and the people in the queue outside get annoyed as they think you are holding the queue up!
The lady that works at the start of the week is friendly too and is very fast.

Friday 19/2/2021 person serving at the post office was so slow it was ridiculous . There was 5 people waiting in front of me I waited 15 minutes and only 1 person got served people were opening the door and shouting complaints
At the staff in the end after about 20 minutes I gave up
