Waltham Abbey Post Office

The lady that runs the postioffice is very rude .

I went to deposted £650 and she told me to make sure to organise thr money thr right way up or she wouldn't serve me. Basically she didn't serve me and I had to leave thr postoffice. I have witnessed her many times being rude to old people in her postoffice. Someone needs to put her right . Terrible customer service from that lady . Everyone else is ok in there just thr Asian lady.

Not only that they are always very abrupt and rude, but my latest experience is that I've applied for an exchange of driving licence from an non-GB to a GB one, and one of the lady from the post office took the liberty to tick on my application form, the option where I ask for a provisional one not an exchange, even though she sealed in the envelope a full driving licence and she did not even asked for my opinion before she interviened with her all-knowing knowledge, on my personal application form.

What was the outcome of that??!

-The DVLA sent me a provisional learning driving licence.
-Inumerable days of waiting from a DVLA response. Every time taking the story from the beginning, because there is always a new officer handling the case. Where they eventually say that I have to contact the authorities from my country for a confirmation letter to prove that I do have a full driving licence, even tho it was sent with my original application form. In other words my driving licence is lost.

- super extra Charge costs on my mobile phone bill,for calling DVLA.
-and a lot of wasted time.

all because the royal mail, post office in Waltham Abbey has some incompetent lady working for them with no common sense knowledge that you don't simply take the liberty and assume that If you have a form in your hands you can just simply tick whatever you dreamt last night, also with a complete lack of costumer service skills.

The lady in this shop is disgusting. Very rude make sure you know your prices etc before you go in as she will try to overcharge at any given chance. No manners at all rude for absolutely no reason

Lady with dark hair and glasses is very moody and rude! Customer service is awful. They look like and act as if they are forced to work. Worse post office branche i have gone too. Lack of knowledge on prices.

This post office is local to me, they do the job however the staff can be rude at times and quite abrupt!! However I reply according to how I’m spoken to, the staff literally have mood swings throughout the day, they definitely need to improve their customer service skills, as I always feel I have to go in defensive mode as you don’t know the response you will get

Absolutely appalling customer service. Very rude and patronising, always dishing out barked instructions peppered liberally with 'darling' as if that will act as some kind of buffer. Every time I've gone in, they expect me to know every detail of the services they do and do not provide. From these reviews I see this is all a common theme, and I'm not surprised whatsoever. If I could give it zero stars I would. Avoid.

Just unbelivable how unhelpful and rude all staff is. That was not the first time I need to use that post office but This time I decided to write review. Sending cards abroad and the lady stick stamps on all of them. I had 8 cards and twice she stick stamp over the post code and she did not see much problem with that. Also after she covered postcode numbers and i ve pointed that and asked if she could use the pen to write it over the stamp she asked me „what number was that?”. If she couldnt read how next people in the line could know what number was under the sticker. This place is disgrace. Its just unbelivable how unkind people working as customer service can be. Pre - Paid for my postage and took it in to get proof of postage, told that i had not paid the correct amount. Confused since i had used the royal mail send an item, My parcel was 1.7kg - 44x35x15 Small Parcel. Small parcel up to size is 45x35x16
The lady kept stating it was a medium parcel and i had to pay an extra £3.00 pounds.
