Fareham Post Office

Small Post Office branch on the upper level of Wh Smiths that do all the usual postal services for parcels & letters, passport applications as well as renewals, just a shame after queuing for a form to close my mums account down after her sadly passing away, the friendly young lady went in search of one & then was told by an older colleague that they no longer stock any type of form as they were all sent back, & I must now go online or phone them directly to send a form to me, a very long winded way!

Scottish lady in there is so rude, asking me what im sending (which is fine) but then when i tell her she starts squeezing my parcel saying 'it doesnt feel like that"! What on earth? Why would i make stuff up that I'm sending, Fortunately I do not have to go in here too often. Odd bunch working in there, thats for sure.

When I givng to old man staff work at Post Office (Business) for V11 Vehicle tax paper, He asked me he ever look my bank card details, I said why?, He ever look my details, I notice he little stubborn, I don't know why?, After I reported Police at Station in Fareham,

Found post office the will take small parcel post to Canada International and also sell parcel boxes which smaller post don't sell. Location not too far from home by bus or car.

Warning. The tablet the staff use for renewing driving licences is broken and has been for awhile so best to go somewhere else to renew and save yourself parking charges.

Reduced opening hours make the usefulness of the post office service extremely limited for normal working people. Couldn’t care less staff. Further cost cutting at the customers expense means the post office as a public service will soon be obsolete.

I have been using this branch several times a week for many years and they are always helpful without fail.

It says it is open till 1730 but the actual opening time is 0800 to 1000.
