Buckland Post Office

No opening hours on google or on the outside of the shop, so no idea what their actual hours are. Were closed 4pm on a Saturday when I tried to go with no idea when they were meant to shut.

They’re the closest to my house but the lady takes ages when I’ve got more than one parcel to post. Elderly woman just chats on even when there’s a massive queue growing behind me, makes me feel guilty. Been in there once with a younger woman behind the counter a lot quicker. Shop layout of awful and cramped. If you want a faster service to up the main road to Derby road, there’s a post office located inside the Spar shop, much faster with opening hours and everything.

Disgraceful service. I went in to change up a bag of 2p's and 5p's. I was shouted at by the man saying that there is no profit here and would I work for free. I had to argue with him that this is a service that the post office provides and that I didn't want to go to the Bridge centre as it was higher risk for covid. He eventually did it but was so rude and aggressive that I will never go in there again. I had also wanted to pay some money into my bank but was so stressed out by him I totally forgot.

NEVER GO HERE to use the post office. I was mischarged on a 2nd class large letter. They kept telling me that if it weighs over 200g it automatically becomes a parcel. No it doesn't! If it is between 200g and 500g its £1.83! All I said was "I'm sorry but I think you have over charged me"...but they were quick to dismiss anything I said.

Then to make matters worse the lady came out and was so vile!!!! Tried to talk down to me...I wasn't rude at all but they didn't hesitate in being rude to me!!! LEARN SOME CUSTOMER SERVICE, THERE IS A WAY OF SPEAKING TO PEOPLE!

Extremely rude lady! I have never been that humiliated!In answer to my question she said that I am well educated and I should know better. She said is not her job to complete my letter. In answer where to write that she said- on my forehead. Rude and arrogant. Super slow. I will never come back there. I can't believe places like that exist!

Very , very RUDE this old lady , I can't understand why she take money at this job . All respect for the man , but lady .......I prefer to use service Hermes in change to see it and speack with her . Sometimes she make me bad day all the day. Very rude

shocking manners of mrs ally or lally swearing at me because didnt know value of my sons parcel, will never use this place again and will make sure others dont !!!!!!

Lady was very very rude to us when we tried to return a parcel as part of the service that the Post Office supply advising that they make no money from it - it was pre paid so we didn’t pay for it anyway, but she wouldn’t listen and continued to advise that they don’t get paid for it… Wasn’t too confident that our parcel was in safe hands with them, I’d advise using Fratton or North End instead.

Would give them no starts at all very rude there wasn't even one time I went there and get friendly service i would of use other post office but there isn't any near enough. There is always a problems with something. They unwillingly give out stamp for online post certificate and etc so if you can avoid this post office .
