Longlevens Post Office

Brilliant local store, with very friendly staff. Good range of items, for when you run out of staples.

The worse post office! They simply never open on time, when the lady does finally arrive, she's usually in a bad mood and takes it out on the customers who have been patiently waiting for her to arrive. She is also in no hurry at all, it’s all in her time. They also never open more than one point, regardless of the number of people waiting. Bad attitude, bad service, never open on time, nothing to like about this place. A good example of why the post office is in such decline.

Woman for the post office customer service is absolutely shocking, no smile, no hello and got my receipt chucked at me, absolutely appalling.

Used this post offices services to return a parcel and the same parcel has just been returned to my home address. I called the post office and was greeted with nothing but hostility, being spoken over continually and spoken down to, rude, arrogant and vile..obviously the counter worker should not be working in customer service. Also
never opens on time, long queues due to changing open/closing times and be warned if any issues occur it is never their fault!!!

Infrequent and unreliable opening hours, made worse with the recent closure of Churchdown post office. Arrived at 10:10am to find a sign on the door saying "Opening around 10ish". Long queue and still no sign of staff at 10:20am.

Always hit and miss if the opening times advertised are actually right so there is no guarantee you'll actually be able to post anything. I've been in when they're supposed to be open, standing and queuing at the post office counter for 10/15 minutes because the lady behind the counter is having a chat... only to be told 'oh yeah there's nobody there' when I've had to ask if I can be served. Often people not wearing masks, staff with masks under nose too - not ideal when I've had to go in multiple times to try to post one parcel.

Having just moved to Longlevens from Hucclecote this is now my local post office. I looked at the reviews and was worried about the service however there was absolutely nothing to be worried about.

The lady who served me was lovely and really helpful answering my questions. Absolutely nothing wrong with the service at all and I won’t hesitate to go back when I next need to.

Abysmal service. don't show up on a Wednesday! new to the area, arrived just before 0830 when it was due to open. 30mins just for the assistant to show up, no apology. everyone knew how bad it was, feel sorry for those that have to work there, who clearly have to work with the owners spoiled son.
