Royal Mail Aldershot Delivery Office

Amazing customer service delivery of Royal Mail in Aldershot! We did not request to put the parcel INSIDE OUR BIN!. Today is Saturday, everybody is in the house, NOBODY USE THE DOORBELL or knock. I know because my computer is in the living room and I had been up since 0630 hours. How the service gone down. Where is the common sense? We demand an explanation. Who delivers to our area GU11 3EF?

The people behind the counter are always very nice. The opening hours are okay and reasonable. I have never had a problem with poor customer service. I have also not ever had to wait for very long.

Since lockdown, I have had to use this service (not many times). The man behind the counter with a white beard, British, late 40s, around 5'8'' is really kind and very helpful. A big thank you goes to him for his hard work and great attitude.

***I visited this place again in June 2022. It was in the afternoon and the person behind the counter was really nice. She has short dark hair and she was extremely polite.***

Sadly the guy we had was Rude and unhelpful refused to give his name for a complaint refused to get my letter. The LAZY postwoman couldn't be bothered to deliver to an upstairs flat. It's very clear why Royal Mail have declined so far with staff attitudes like this.

No post for 2 days and local sorting office is only open from 8am to 10am?

Got up in the early hours to go to work on a Saturday so I could finish early so I could pick up an important package because it closes at 1400 in the week. I checked and it said it was open and it will close at 1200. Got there at 1030 and it was closed.

Why isnt their a phone number so we can call Aldershot main delivery post office !

Went to pick up a parcel today, as I have done multiple other times. I have never been asked for ID and the only time I was, I just showed my passport photo from my phone. Always been okay. Today is the only day I have managed to get out as I work full time and their opening hours are ridiculous, I didn't have my purse on me so no ID and was refused my parcel. I tried showing my passport photo from my phone, it has my picture and my name, no good. I tried showing my online bank statement, which shows my address, he said it's not good enough as it just shows my address. I said it also shows my name, he claims he cannot accept it as it's on mobile. Strange, as most people get paperless statements nowadays and the Post Office website claims to accept credit card statements. Then he offers to have it redelivered Saturday. No good, because I work on Saturdays. Suggests to have it redelivered elsewhere... Now this is what got me, if it can be redelivered to another address, with no proof of ID, why can't I just pick it up there and then without ID? Flawed logic. Seems like every worker there has been trained differently.

Useless office, ridiculous opening hours during which it is still closed anyway!
