Up Hatherley Post Office

A small but very friendly post office. The manager has turned this into a vital part of the community. Service is efficient and personable, and always with a smile.

Old passport sent Monday with Post office service new one arrived before 10am on Saturday (6 day service). Both old and new passport arrived the same day but separately.

The team here are absolutely fantastic. Friendly, very helpful and always crack a joke or 2 to make the visit more exciting. I travel across town to visit them as it really makes visiting the PO easier. Good parking and no silly queues.

Why go anywhere else......?

Best post office service I’ve ever received. All staff are friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. Happy to help with queries and find the best solution for the customer. I go to this post office instead of the one in my own village as this one is so much better. Thanks everyone

Excellent, professional, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Always use this office when posting to various locations around the globe and within UK. Also stocked is everything you need for packaging and wrapping items, and you can withdraw cash and deposit cheques - no need to visit your bank further afield.

I have used this post office 3 times over the last month and each time the owners are rude, insulting, abrupt and don’t want to help at all!. They have the worst customer service I have ever seen from the Royal Mail. Won’t use or recommend them ever again!

Last night I went to our local post office to send my mum parcel abroad (Iran) which I do normally do every months,but this is the new local post office which I start as I moved to my flat.

After lady great greeting ask me to put the parcel on scale as i did what I have been told, after offer me her expensive services which I rejected, I ask her my economy service which I normally chose then Ask me twice what is inside I patiently asnwered both times, it's jumpers and chocolate .

Then the one gentleman who was in background on commented, we can't send clothes to Iran and I was "parden!" I have sent it 10ays ago, and she insisted it's a new rules.

I take my parcel then I said I am going to another post office which she insisted don't go other as they don't accept it!?
I was entirely confused with the service and I thought myself there is a lack of essential information about their jobs.

If it wasn't my normal job to send away I trusted them and back home image the elderly people face of this irresponsible people what they should do.
I already filled the royal mail complain form.

I want to support their jobs on this branch but when they do not want support they lose their job.

I have sent my item to my mum in Iran today on Brockworth, Gloucester where I work.

I've posted many items from this post office and often they either go missing or arrive in the wrong part of the country.
I want to support my local but when I tried to enquire about one of the missing parcels the chap became rude, defensive, unreasonable and told me never to come back.
I am very sad that this happened but feel there must be something he's hiding, I have reported them and believe this business needs to close!!! Please do not support
