University Post Office

The staff here can be really rude and unpleasant. Try one of the other local Post Offices instead.

A week ago I went to drop off three parcels. the queue was very long. When I gave my parcel to the young man he refused to accept them just because they were a large letter than a small parcel. He didn't even say "sorry". He should've accepted it because it was under 750 grams. The next day I had to take my parcels somewhere else where it was thankfully taken. I have to say the young man is very rude. it's ridiculous the university post office doesn't have a print service so if any customer has a mistake on their label they can quickly print it out rather than having to go back home. it's like the staff haven't been trained properly. I recommend everyone to go to the Portswood post office because it has print service AVAILABLE.

Post office manager developed problems to wait for my letters with my assistance dog. He asked for badge and he was rude and uncared. So sorry for university’s post office to treat like that univ lecturers and students.

The lady working at the post office helped me dodging a scam. Couldn’t thank her enough. And the service is great

Can,t believe the reviews ,went in today 2 lovely young ladies helped me sort out my parcel for posting..everytime I,ve been in its been nothing but first class service.
.did not see the older lady most were complaining about,maybe she has left but but always been helpful when I have gone in.

Service seems much better compared to older reviews as the lady at the counter was genuinely helpful and kind. Easy access for university students

I've been visiting this post office since over 2 years now and never had a bad experience. Yes, they can get busy, but what post office doesn't?
You can still see that everyone working there tries their best.
In some occasions they even go the extra mile! Arrived 20min earlier than their opening time on a Saturday and the staff took me in and helped regardless :)

Hate going their as one of the owners is extremely rude. The staff need to polish up on their customer service skills for sure. It's just convenient as it's round the corner. Surely customers bring business to them so why wouldn't you want more customers?
