Post Office (Great Hivings)

REDICULOUSLY SLOW.

Always three people in the shop but only one person serving...? Why? Expect to wait ten minutes or longer. I only ever need to post one letter and have to wait for everyone ahead who is sending a load of packages or filling out forms. That's fine but why the other people in the shop can't open a till for people who just want to simply post a letter I'll never know. Shop just doesn't function well.

Really handy little post office, you can park outside and drop off or collect a parcel quickly without having to deal with town centre carparks or a busy high street. Friendly staff and useful things on sale like basic stationary. A simple but very handy little shop!

This is absolutely the best post office that I have been into for years. All the staff are so friendly and helpful. The cards they sell are fantastic too and very well priced. I can't recommend it highly enough. My mum uses it now also and loves it too. Well done!!

The man at the counter always seems miserable, comes across as rude at times, just being slightly cheerful and happy would go a long way

The WORST customer service I have ever had.
There is an old man who works there, quite short, bold/next to no hair. Regularly raises his voice to the customers and finger points. Yells out instructions as opposed to guiding customers with calm and friendly tone/manner. Clearly no customer experience training.
I absolutely hate going there but unfortunately sometimes cannot avoid it.

Very bad experience staff very rude not helpful and a lady she's very rude when my card declined some reason she say don't come next time if you have no money in your account but I had enough money in my account I will never go to this post office 😔😔😔

Very rude staff
In detail questions of what I was sending and wanted to know the exact value. Tried selling me insurance in case they got lost. Explained customer chose 2nd standard. Questioned if one item could go as a large letter only to be told “fit it through that template and I’ll send it as a large letter.” Fair enough it didn’t fit, but the lady actually said “I know what I’m doing.”
She then sent it to the wrong house number and assured me it would still get there. I explained it was a child customer who doesn’t receive post so it won’t get there without the correct postage label. She refused to change it so I asked for a refund. She refused and offered for me to pay for a new label. After a lot of arguing and rewriting the address label it was posted correctly at no extra charge. However after all the kerfuffle about contents and value, I was concerned my item wouldn’t arrive. Thankfully they did.
I will not be returning here as I do not trust the staff and found them very disrespectful and rude

The team at Great Hivings are absolutely fantastic. Always chat to see how I am, customer service second to none. This Post Office is in a really handy location too as there is parking directly outside. Would definitely recommend
