Abbey End News & Post Office

I was recommended to go here as the new owners have set up a passport photo service.
Fantastic, they are able to accommodate wheelchairs, children as there in awkward 'photo-booth' to scramble into.
The staff are so pleasant, very different from the last time I visited.

One star is a star too many. Appalled by the lack of customer service continually unavailable at this Post Office. Everything is too much trouble. It's impossible to visit during your lunch hour as you will spend the majority of the time waiting to be served and then you'll be met with an unhelpful, unhappy staff member who clearly wishes to be elsewhere. If only the Post Office on Moseley Road could offer the Passport and DVLA services for the Kenilworth area- A much more pleasant experience offered there with staff who care for their community.

We live not too far from this PO and even frequent it. I was just looking today to double check if there is a passport booth there now , and was taken aback to have reviews on the staff being rude. On no occasion of our often visits has this been the case . In fact, the opposite . The staff have always been friendly and personable .

Welcoming and friendly staff. I’ve been in quite a few times with my 3 year old and they always have a little chat with her. She loves going and so do I. Very helpful with advice on postage options and currency exchanges.

Staffs treat customers inappropriately and disrespectfully.

Incredibly helpful with regards to processes / forms / postal queries (dvla, passport and photos). Made the convulsed and time consuming government process easy. Much appreciated, thank you.

Nice staff. I had 3 heavy parcels to send, I arrived to the shop with just one and when I were in my car to get the second one the staff appeared with a trolley to help me. Nice movement.

They gave me a parcel price I thought it could not be correct so went to another post office they quoted me half the price after measuring it so I posted it you need to get training and measure parcels not just guess won’t use again wasted my time.
