Barton Post Office

Lovely little post office & shop that sells almost everything you could need at last minuet. Always use this post office over the bigger ones closer to town :)

Fantastic lady helped me to post a big box even though she could have rejected it . Very friendly and eager to help

poor service, i called to collect the parcel, the lady in the shop was not helpful, i had travelled with mother who cant walk, i explained this. the lady said she didnt know why the post office was closed. i later found out the lady in the sweet shop, (which is in the same building ) is the wife of the man who runs the post office ( in the same building ). the Post office was closed again, today, i was told '' the printer isnt working '' - another time i called the PO, the PO worker ( the man ) said drop the parcel before 2 pm, as he was closed and told me to leave it in the shop, when i arrived at the shop, the woman in the shop ( his wife ) told me i had to wait until 2 pm. i explained to her that her husband told me to leave the parcel before 2 pm. i asked her to call him'' he cant be disturbed on his lunch break '. my mother has experienced similar issues with this post office. and the post office customer service has also told me they are aware of issue at this post office. such a farce! such incompetance, such a laid back dont care attitude that should not be allowed.

Their lunch seems to take precedence over customer service! Arrived a minute before 1 and was told they were closing for lunch even though there were two people in the queue ahead of me waiting to be served. I only wanted to buy some stamps!

The staff are so lovely and friendly. They have looked after the community so well consistently and even more recently due to covid. A great local buisiness to support!!!

A well stocked, convenient shop, run by two lovely people who work incredibly hard to serve the community so well.
Everyone needs to support them!

Over priced and will try and rip you off, beware of the intentions behind the smiling face
