Carr Road Post Office

For a local shop they are the rudest people ever, obnoxious counter staff & inadequate post service .

One young lady is very nice & always happy but the rest treat you like you've just been walked in on their shoe !! DISGUSTING !

Staff are friendly and helpful. Never had an issue with the post office. The line is sometimes long, but not longer than those at other branches in E17.

This is my local post office and shop. The man that runs it is the nicest, kindest man ever. Since the pandemic they have completely redone the contents of the shop. You can literally buy most things from here now - including kettles and toasters! He is always asking us for suggestions on what else he can get to help his customers. Amazing service to the community.

The new owners are the best, and always ask us for feedback and suggestions for new products. They have high quality items I'd never expect in a corner shop. It's better and better every time I go.

Another trip to post office, another occasion for this people to show their poor attitude. They are so rude I feel ashamed for them. They cannot help themselves but being rude. I understand they are not British and might not have same manners but some basics are just common sense. They literally push you out while you are still paying! Apparently “they’re in a rush to serve another customer”, when there was only 1 person behind me. I would not be back if there was another post office in the area and certainly I’m not spending my money in this shop. They deserve to close for good.

Some of these negative reviews may be for the previous owners, this shop and PO has been taken over fairly recently and the new owners are lovely. Really friendly and really helpful. The shop keeps improving in terms of the stock it keeps and it has been a god send for us during this time.

Not only they are soo RUDE to the point where I feel embarrassed for them, the lady at the Post Office doesn’t even know words like Hi, please and thank you, and also recently I have been given a fake note by the guy that claims he’s the owner. People be careful.

The new owners are fantastic, kind, friendly and helpful. The shop has improved so much since they took it over, with all sort of new line items and some unusual things I used to have to buy elsewhere (asian noodles, tofu, alternative milks, rice cakes). We are lucky to have such a shop so close and always try to use it rather than the big supermarkets.
