Brixton Road Post Office

I gave a 3 star review as the service that the workers there are providing is the absolute best they can do with the staffing you are providing. There is only one lady working on the post desk. The post office is always busy, a queue out of the door and everyone waits, she is very efficient. There are two post office “cubicles” I would suggest adding another member of staff. To add to this due to the lack of staffing the working conditions for the lady who works there are not good, she cannot take a break (even to go to the toilet) without a queue of people waiting.

The 1 star is due to the constant unacceptable short staff issue!

Sofie is a very lovely women and I would have put 5 stars for her wonderful service. Its very overwhelming for 1 person to be dealing with people from 9-7pm all day alone.

Post office need to assign more regular staff at this post office.

Main doors closed. No sign to use side doors. Women in grey jumper waving money around and ignoring the girl already waiting. When realising side door was open. The girl in front of us still ignore while she carried on her conversation making the girl wait and the line bigger. Then just closes the window with no explanation. Weird

I have been using this branch for several years. As always the assistants are polite, dedicated and helpful.
Today Sofia went even further. As during the strike all other post offices around are closed and even though the office was full of parcels and they were no longer accepting more she managed to help me as I am traveling on Saturday and I would miss my return window.

Sofia was brilliant. She was closing up after a long day and staff shortages but she helped me post a parcel and other customers withdraw money. What a lovely person, she made mine and others lives so much easier. Please pass on my thanks to her.

Sofia is the most helpful and kind person. When other staff members were sick and Sofia needed to close early, she stayed open to help me get cash out when I lost my debit card. She allowed me to Monzo her money and used her own personal card to get cash out at the post office for me. Such a generous person, I am so grateful. I hope you have the merriest Christmas Sofia.

This is my local post office, and I'm never disappointed with the customer service. The queues are often quite long, (presumably due to staffing issues) but the staff that are there are really friendly and efficient despite this. I always know that I'll be treated with respect and care when Sofia is working too. We're lucky to have staff like her!

I saw a lot of people giving Sofia a hard time while I was in the que. She was very respectful in the situation and she didn’t deserve the treatment she received. She is always great and helps customers with a smile on her face. I hope she gets more help especially when I see her constantly working by herself.
