Walworth Post Office

Went to the PO on Sat thinking it closed at 12:30pm. To my surprise, the Opening Times notice said 5:30pm. The PO was packed with about 40 people ahead of me. As the store was closing at 5:30pm , I had a mind to leave and go to my next call then come back later. I went to confirm with the lady at the store counter (for other non-postal items) the closing times. She then asked me what I had to post and I told her I had a Special Delivery item. She said she could assist with that, which she did remarkably fast as the Special Delivery van had just arrived for the last collection of the day. She was brilliant! Her name was Vanitha and I was soo impressed by her speed and efficiency. Thank you so much, for your service, Vanitha. You made my Saturday! Keep up the good service!"

Another seamless visit to the Walworth Road PO. Fantastic service from Krish who explained all the costs and what each service entails. I went at 11:30am and there was absolutely no queue, I walked right to the cashier. nice and easy

Cynthia was so fabulous and respectful I really enjoyed speaking to her she is genuinely a wonderful women and I hope she gets everything she wants in this life. I was having a bad day and she made my day happy I really appreciate the employees like Cynthia.

Just like to say a big thank you to Banjo at Walworth Road PO SE17 for his exceptional customer service delivery. He is always courteous and patient when dealing with me on many occasions. He supported me with my passport and driving licence application today was no different either. Thank you Banjo and always keeping an eye on queues and apologising to customers for the wait whilst you and your colleagues were very busy. Ms Parker

Simply put a very useless place with employees who couldn’t care less about the people walking through the door, or the job they’re doing. I thought the reviews of this place were a bit over-dramatic, but it truly is this terrible. I came to post something at 5:22pm, no customers in the office, but they had shut the doors early. I knocked on the door to get let in and pointed at the piece of paper glued to the window that said 5:30pm closing, not 5:20pm. They saw me, but didn’t respond. At 5:30 (when they are scheduled to close), after 8 minutes of pretending not to hear the knocking, they slowly came over to the closed door, and locked it properly right in front of me - not even saying a word or explaining. I truly hate that post office with a passion, and I hope people stop using it and fancy the walk over to Kennington Park and uses that one instead. Maybe then they’ll finally close this place down.

Update Dec. 2022: They have now bought several hundred of fake reviews on Google, bringing up their total score from under 1 star to almost 4 stars. It's unbelievable.
