Cowley Post Office

Since the change of ownership, the new owners take every opportunity to keep the shop closed unlike the previous owners who were always open. It’s extremely disappointing given that they have left me without electricity on two occasions. I should add I plan in advance and check their website for their opening hours only to find it doesn’t correspond with what they are actually doing.

Had to return a computer to Apple and went to Cowley Post Office to drop it off for their 48hr tracked service. The woman behind the desk was most rude and unhelpful. It was obviously an expensive package and quite large but they refused to place it in a secure area. I was told I could leave it on the floor in an insecure part of the shop and in her own words "take a risk that no one walks off with it". When I said this was unacceptable I was informed again in her own words that "it doesn't matter if it's taken as you would have a receipt for it anyway". Absolutely awful customer service and not what anyone would expect. If you knew this would be an issue, surely as the shop manager you would make some provision for situations like this. Unsurprisingly I went to the next nearest post office where I had no issue. If I were you I'd avoid Cowley Post Office at all cost.

Very disappointed with the tone staff spoke to me. Not willing to speak in a friendly manner, made life difficult for me and added unnecessary stress.

Wanted to return a parcel to a shop because item wasn't suitable. Staff turned it away despite email from store on its return's policy of item - was told to either pay for return or not return it at all!

Deposited my cash here in less than a minute! The Indian couple are very helpful and are always happy to guide you.
