Brentwood Road Post Office

Really poor customer service. I am a local resident and business person who is currently posting out items to customers. Every time I go in and ask to post something with proof of postage the lady at the counter rolls her eyes at me. She has done this several times and I find it inappropriate especially because they are providing a POSTAL SERVICE and requesting this is my right (check the Royal Mail website). Today I went in and was being served by the young man who works there (probably the son). As he was serving me the lady walked in and said something in her language and the guy started telling me off - saying I need to be going online and printing out my own postage proofs. I explained that my printer is currently not working - otherwise I would do that (because who wants to be served with annoyance and eye rolls every time they come in?) However, I dont actually have to do that. I can request proof of postage if I want. I feel that a job being done should be done properly. The lady also knows that I am posing out items to customers because she asked me once - so in the spirit of supporting a small, local business, why not just keep your thoughts to yourself and do your actual job...?

Went here to pick up a delivery. Lady at counter was rude & made it seem like I was causing her a big problem. This was just a simple collection! She made me fill out a paper form even though I had details on my mobile.

Also, despite being in the middle of the pandemic, none of the staff were wearing masks.

Will avoid this place in the future!

Very reliable and welcoming service. The lady at the counter was extremely helpful, made sure all my parcels were safe and secured. Nice to see a well run family business. Keep up the great work!

Every time I go into this post office I'm met with miserable faces and a rude attitude from the staff, last time I went in it took me a few seconds to find my barcodes as I had a few that needed scanning, and the staff were rolling their eyes. It's extremely inappropriate and as a customer I should be treated with a bit more respect! As someone who has worked in customer services before I would never treat the public the way these people do

Extremely rude and poor costumer service! Unfortunately this my local post office, that I try to avoid like the plague! Every time I have the misfortune of going there I’m greeted with miserable faces and rudeness!!!

I went to return a parcel the rude lady want me to buy couple of red bull as the previous customer done to dispatch the parcel . Avoiding this post office . Dumb faces.

It is a family run business and has been for years. The family are friendly, helpful and genuinely caring people who have seen my family grow from bumps to parents who have children themselves and always ask how my family is. Couldn't wish for nicer people to run a business who deals with people day in, day out.
