Cheriton Post Office

Absolutely disgusting. Every time i purchase my postage online they hate it. They refused my last parcel and made me pay out for another service. (second class because of the cost through themselves). I had already paid online for a first class service. Now the item has been lost or stolen (surprise surprise) and i have had to refund the buyer, now costing me £116.00 due to their incompetence. Never a problem anywhere else, but here. Unacceptable..

Good first class passport checking for 16 pounds just take old passport valid mobile number and email address they will do everything for you passport costs 91.50. Back within 3 weeks all signed for. They also take new digital photo. My advise ring first because of covid 19. Brilliant service. And no fuss.

Had to queue outside as they control access due to SD measures which was difficult for elderly customers but I didn't mind. They are more pleasant and helpful than Folkestone post office, and actually knew the answer regarding first day covers for stamps unlike Folkestone PO who said they didn't know and to try somewhere else.

Fantastic service!! Two lovely ladies Julie and Helen helped me and my partner to get our driving licences and passports renewed. We had been very anxious as we thought it would take hours and that we would probably be faced with incompetent staff. But we were so wrong. The staff put us both at ease and took over. They took our photos and did the whole application for both of us in less than 45mins. I could not believe our luck. I am so glad that there is still some people out there who not only can do their jobs well but are also friendly. Thankyou.

Great service, very helpful, friendly, first 👍 👏 class passport checking for 16 pounds. Checked my passport application. Gave me a passport Application Receipt & Notice with all the explanation. 2 days later, I received an HMPASSPORT SMS that they received my passport. 2 weeks later, I received a new SMS that my new passport was send to me. 2 days later I received
back my old passport. And a week later I received my new passport. Thank you Cheriton post office.

Passport renewal 10th Feb 2023. Totally painless Digital and send. Only took 12mins. All that was needed was old passport,fee,mobile phone number and an email address. They took the digital photos and did the rest. Friendly and faultless.

Useless service - no signage or anything informing customers that you can't send anything abroad at the moment. Had to queue up to be told it wasn't possible. The cashier told me that it was possible to send online and obtain a barcode, but they gave me no information to take with me and I cannot find the mentioned service online.

Also, very poor selection of envelopes, especially padded ones. Not possible to buy a single item anymore, you have to buy a pack of three. Not being available singly means it's also impossible to check if your item fits before you buy the envelope.

Generally pathetic service.

I was doubtful about the service I would get at the counter, after joining the long queue of people anxiously waiting outside the Post Office. However, as I got to the front, I was pleased to find that the lady clerk who attended me was very professional and provided me with the Post Office's customary efficient service
