Post Office

I got my item delivered to the post office and I had a notification from royal mail that it was there ready to collect. The post office state they have never received the parcel, even though there is proof from royal mail that it was scanned in at the counter. The post master was very unhelpful, refused to double check out the back, show me his cameras or look on his system he just stated 'we dont have it' this parcel contained £200 pounds worth of clothes and I am still out of pocket weeks later. I believe the post office lost my parcel or something happened to it.

Closed. As always. It’s meant to close at 2pm today. I can only go on a Saturday due to work. It’s currently 1:30pm and I’ve just returned home from yet another attempt. It was completely closed, shutters down etc, by 1:15pm. Absolutely disrespectful to customers and the time and efforts taken out of their days. If you don’t open on Saturdays please JUST SAY SO ON THE WEBSITE. If you do, PUT YOUR ACTUAL HONEST CLOSING TIMES ON THE WEBSITE!

Really friendly staff, helpful and much shorter queues than other post offices I've gone to on a regular basis before.

I personally find the Women who work here are not helpful whatsoever. Zero customer service skills. Tall Muslim man just can’t do enough for you, he really goes out of his way to help you with your needs. Shame the girls are not like him. Believe me, they need serious customer service training ASAP.

Most employees are polite and really good at what they do. But there is one member of staff that normally serves on the right till straight opposite the entrance, that seems to not know what he's doing. Apart from being really slow with everything, he managed to mistype ALL of the abroad addresses, then he would point with his hands without talking to me and then get annoyed with everything around him and making you feel extremely uncomfortable.

Bizarre experience, won't be back, and don't recommend this place. The man behind the till refused to send a postcard-sized envelope (with a postcard in it) overseas without a customs form. When I explained that I mail these out almost weekly without issue, as they meet the weight and size requirement for doing so, he simply said "take it or leave it". I took it -- to another post office, and sent it without issues, as I always do.

Small but good post office, does get busy certain days/times and there is a wait but the customer service is great, always friendly, polite, helpful. Nice to see it is still going after many years & different owners
