North Hillingdon Post Office

I send hundreds of large letters a year for my business. This post office is absolutely brilliant for it, as well as for other post office services! Really helpful, calm, hard working staff and I always know my letters are in safe hands. I went out of my way, past two other Uxbridge/Hilllingdon post offices, to use this one for all of my Christmas orders! It really is that good, and it's open later than most others! Highly recommend

Almost every time I come here they have closed the counter early. Each time there is a different excuse.

Good service but only all the gentlemen as the main south asian lady at the post office has some personal grudge, attitude problem/inferior complex as she is always out of the way exceptionally rude with me & today I'm finally fed up hence the review.
She makes a face the minute she sees me, doesn’t acknowledge me or any questions asked, flat face, making faces, unhelpful, trying to intimidate me while smiling laughing away with everyone else & even then i have maintained being friendly & try to diffuse & not think much of it but over a couple of years its been apparent as all she does is make me uncomfortable so much that i have stopped using them if she is there unless absolutely necessary as all this sadly for no reason or cause I'm really liked by all the other staff being an regular for many years.
Point is, its not professional to have some girly war/behavior with your customers cause of the way they look or liked!!!
If it wasn't for her i would give it a 5 star as over all the service & timings are nice/speedy/good

The Post Office counter is regularly closed during advertised business hours. I would give zero stars if that were an option. As of today (30/11/22) there is a sign which says "Post Office Counter Closed until further notice".

Went there to get currency changed lady gave me a price, thought it was a bit too cheap, went to Central London and got £20 more than this post office wanted to give.
This also happened to a friend if mine with euros, he got £28 more changing back to UK sterling.
Either they don't know what they doing or they on the fiddle

Don’t bother going unless you have over half an hour to wait while ONE cashier is only ever open, despite there being two available. This will be taking 15 minutes per customer as there’s always someone being trained up. This will be the third time in a month that I’ve tried to post ONE thing off here, but due to the incompetent cashier, and the sheer reluctance to open up the second available cashier, I’ve had to leave as it’s not possible to wait as I’m a working person. Avoid!!! Such a shame hillingdon Heath shut down - they were excellent.
