Maidenbower Post Office

Unreliable service times, the post office is definitely NOT open all the hours the shop is. If you can, go somewhere else. Esspecially don't go at lunchtime!

Friendly staff,but very unreliable service times.
Very hard to know if it is open.
Especially with outside queuing ...you just can't know if anyone is there to run the post office counter.

Unreliable. Never open until the times stated outside their store. Two days in a row they weren't open when I came as well, both in the afternoon.

Never has any one on the tills. Go pound hill instead

Unbelievable that this post office has any business at all. I took a parcel in on Tuesday (48 hour tracked) and they needed to advise the Gatwick depot that they have parcels to be collected due to the small amount of parcels they handle. I have spoken to the Gatwick depot and it is now Thursday evening and they haven't been advised that they have any collections. My parcel will now not be collected until tomorrow and will not be delivered until next Tuesday a full 7 days after dropping it off, all because Maidenbower have not advised the Gatwick depot to collect.

My suggestion is save yourself the trouble and find any other post office in the Crawley area and avoid this one. They simply seem to not care or have no idea what they are doing.

Waited 20 minutes to be served
Two members said they were not trained and vanished after being asked.
Never open on advertised hours and when I tried to post a package was told I had to take it to another PO as they had problems with their carriers and would not even take it to hold for following day.
Has gone to rock bottom since refurb.
If you can go somewhere else i do it ts chaos.

My carer has just gone to the Post Office for me and it’s closed until 4PM today??? Now she has to go to another one when the hours online state they are open 10-5 today?? The co op staff apart from one man has very little knowledge of how the PO works and the services etc
Absolutely pointless, they should have left it with the post office separate as before!!

Post office opening hours differ from online, they don't serve anyone before 10am, not even for a drop off.
