Without fail the lady at the post office is once again rude and unhelpful and horrible to her customers. She refused to scan my QR code because she says my screen was too dark. I put it up on full it didn’t scan after 2 tries. She claims she couldn’t try scanning anymore because her arm hurt and I should try somewhere else! Pathetic! I wish they would get rid of her once and for all. Maybe then she will realise how hard it is when so many are unemployed.

I am not surprised of how many 1 star reviews there are about this place/the lady. Just AVOID using this post office. The lady at the counter will go out of her way to be rude and overcharge you. She is absolutely miserable and would not give you your package. Either she can't find it or she would ask for proof of address even if you have your valid ID with you! I honestly believe she gets a kick out of making your life a misery. I would rather travel an extra mile to the next post office in the area but sometimes Royal Mail redirect my packages here and I dread walking into the place every time. I wrote to Post Office via their complaints department and I encourage other local residents to do the same if they want something to be done.

If you are looking to actually use a this post office for actual post office services, then please do yourself a favour and don't waste your time.
My past two visits have been absolutely appalling.
On the first visit, I was told that the lady that works in the post office section left early, and that she is the only staff member that is authorised to do such transactions. And that was that.
I reluctantly returned today to turn be told by the same man that the lady takes her lunch between 1p-2pm.
I understand that people need to take breaks within the workplace, but the shocking thing is that they have no other staff in place to cover lady when she is on a break!
Fortunately I am able to get around fairly quickly - whether it be by car or on foot. However, I feel sorry for the elderly people that may walk or make that strenuous journey, just to be told that they will have to come back another time.
Also, not everyone has an hour or another time to come back in the day.
If this shop made it clear or communicated with signage or on a website that the post office is out of service between those hours, then it would prevent a lot of people's time being wasted.
So I thought I would do everyone who is considering coming to this shop a favour by saying avoid coming between 1 and 2 because you will not be served. Or maybe it's just best to not come at all, as the lady chooses to be available whenever she pleases.
Disappointing.

Very unhelpful.I walked into an empty post office at one pm with a small package only for the lady in charge to put a sign up and state that she is going for lunch!
I went to the next and only window open only to be told by the gent he only does groceries and not post items!
I had to walk to the post office in Addiscombe adding forty five minutes onto the trip.
Why is this lady so unhelpful?
I've no idea if small post offices are franchises nowadays but surely its a business and a customer service?
Customer service does not exist at this location yet if you take the time to go to the Portland Road PO it is a pleasure and they value the custom.
Avoid this place at all cost. It will be better for your mental health.

Very rude lady. She will overcharge you and the same item can be send for half of the price elsewhere. Don’t expect costumer support or good manners. Often will be closed at work times for silly reasons and you have to wait for her to come back. Won’t accept parcels after 15:30 but work time is till 17:00. Anyone who is reading this please email Royal Mail costumer support to explain what we are dealing with so she can be replaced.

The lady who works there is very rude and unhelpful. I think she purposefully overly charged people. I am young so can go to other post offices but I feel sorry for the elderly that are forced to go there. Another post office should be opened near by. She’s is very horrible. She once told me I was a scammer because the QR code would not work.

The lady clerk is the epitome of misery and embodiment of hostility and rudeness. She needs to attend a finishing school of hospitality, good customer service and lessons on how to exercise her jaw and lips into the shape of a smile. She appears irritated to speak, so this obviously the wrong profession. Royal mail, this woman is giving the postal service a poor reputation. Help!!!!!

Oo God.. this is the worst post office I've seen in my life.the lady in the post office is behaving so bad at children's who came to postoffice.and also she seems to be a racist. I came to know that too. Pls don't come to use this post office.
