Royal Mail Mitcham

This sorting office needs to include holiday hours of business on their website. Says it closes at 3pm today (which is an Easter Sunday), travelled all the way there & it was closed, NOT HAPPY!

Always friendly always helpful, can’t believe the bad reviews on here, people should learn to check opening times before turning up with their ID, just leave a note on your door explaining where parcels should be left if nobody is home, simples

Easy enough to collect a parcel. Showed ID. The hours advertised on Google and the royal mail website differ to the hours posted at the actual site.

If the opening hours changed on 8th of August, you should update that on the website as well ..

BESIDE THE AVAILABILITY TO PICK UP THE PARCEL ON MY OWN , I NEVER GET WHY THEY ASK IF THEY WANT ME TO LEAVE THE PARCELL TO A NEIGHBOUR OR A SAFE PLACE BUT THEY NEVER DO.
NOW I HAVE TO WAIT TIL MONDAY TO SEE IF I WILL GET IT OR IF I HAVE TO REBOOK IT AGAIN BECAUSE I AM ALWAYS WORKING AND THE STORY REPEATS

They just leave their note for me to go collect the parcel instead of just dropping it in my mailbox. I have told them twice that it easily fits but it's like talking to a wall. No communication whatsoever. Their online working hours are wrong. I visited them on Friday 19 Nov. at 18:05 and they had closed although it stated online that they would be open until 19:00.

I have no idea why there are so many negative reviews for this place. I've been collecting parcels there for 11 years and have never had a bad experience (ok maybe twice, a couple of years ago there was a very rude woman behind the counter, but she didn't last long). Otherwise the staff have always been polite and efficient, so I can only think that the people who complain probably complain about life in general.
