Shambles of a service.

Come on you guys! I needed a 1 week priority passport form. NO! Go to a main post office. Why not? It's only a few pieces of paper to get more satisfied customers.

Surprise, sometimes you have to queue in a post office. The team here have never been anything but courteous, helpful, efficient, kind, cheerful, I could gone on, about that queue, I just gently pick up a magazine read it in the queue, then gently place back, it’s like a small break. Thank you pitshanger post office

Awful! One member of staff working and a massive queue! Been like this for weeks. Manager can’t help apparently, not enough staff Will get even worse for Christmas!

Probably the untidiest PO ever.
Badly located, within a local branch of the Coop.
The place is cluttered with tall metal Coop racks, unopened stock and boxes all over the place.
The cleaner seems to be constantly washing the floor, during opening hours.
Queueing means having to snake around the wines, magazine and confectionary departments.
It's a veritable thieve's paradise. Occasionally, it's like a reading room, as some customers pick out a magazine to read from the racks, because they're waiting so long.
I've occasionally seen customers with unlabelled parcels, unwrapped packets, who then proceed to chat with the clerk whilst labelling/wrapping their items, prolonging the wait and the queue.
One or two of the staff need a bit more training in customer service, but my main complaint is not about them.
It can't be a nice environment to work in.
Rarely more than one operative serving, despite having 3 tills.
They're usually blocked with clutter anyway.
The website says they are open from 8am to 6pm.
You arrive just after 8am, and the place is usually screened and in darkness.
Then you notice a scruffy handwritten note on the glass screen stating they don't open until 9am, despite the fact that the website states 8.00am.
It's not always properly open at 9am!
Do they not have a printer?
Totally unsatisfactory, in a premises unfit for purpose.
I avoid like the plague nowadays and use alternative Couriers or a letterbox.
I have lodged a complaint, which, at least, has been acknowledged.
Watch this space.

It says opening time 8am on the website.... but actually doesn't open before 9am... I wasted 1 hour of my time speeding to go there before work for nothing... that's not right sorry.

It's quite busy as it unfortunately seems quite understaffed, so it's best to go early morning/before it closes - lunches seem the busiest. The quietest I've seen it was around 4pm on a Saturday.

The staff they do have are great, I've always been served by friendly and helpful people - they unfortunately have to deal with a lot of grumpy customers, but I've seen them handle this really well!

It's difficult for a tiny post office attached to a supermarket to deal with the volume of customers that they get and so the wait times can be long, but I've had nothing but pleasant experiences with the staff.
