Chiswick Post Office

The Chiswick post office at lunch time is always really busy and full of people. But credit to the staff who are always very efficient and quick. They are also very friendly and seems to Get through the queue quickly. Post office also has a shop on the side and a convenient store.

Lady with the glasses at the till is the rudest girl I ever met. She charged me more than expected and start to make fun of me by speaking in Punjabi with her colleague next to me, when I ask for the money she owed me.
If you don’t like your job, go work somewhere else

The oldest woman at the brunch in Chiswick I am assuming she is the owner, She was extremely rude, made me to wait over 20 minutes simply because she was on the phone in front of me and after she didn’t accept my money to deposit into Barclays Bank account just because I was complaining about the waiting time . I find she is extremely rude and unprofessional. I will definitely contact main Royal Mail and report how rude she is with lots of customers as I always see people arguing with her, and in my opinion she does have such a rude attitude as she is getting advantage that it’s the only brunch in Chiswick

Rude and unhelpful staff in the main part of the post office. You are sent from window to window and after 10 mins of queuing I was told they didn't offer the service, listed on their website, which is what I needed. It needs a strong manager to sort things out.
The parcel collection section is the only part the works efficiently and the staff are good.

I use this post office regularly and I pray that I do not get served by the manager (older lady). She is a horrific individual to both customers and staff. I have seen her bully her colleagues and her attitude towards customers is appalling. She is obnoxious, aggressive and down right rude. You ask simple questions and you get an aggressive response. It is clear from the many similar reviews on this site that this is a common occurrence and it is utterly bewildering that the Post Office management continues to endorse such behaviours through allowing to continue to employ such an individual.

I tried to call them all day and ask what's happened with my parcel as it hasn't arrived yet. No one was picking up the phone all day, finally when someone answered (indian lady probably the same everyone's saying that she's rude) she just told me quickly what should I do and when I started my question she just hung up on me!! Call quickly again and no answer. Shocking customer service!!!! And missing parcel is not the worst part of it! lol

My second review and sadly no better than the first. Farcical indeed! I asked at the counter by the entrance for coin bags - the banking type - HSBC had advised me that the post office had them. I was told to queue and ask at the main counter (about 10 in front of me with 1 person serving) and after more than half an hour queueing to get the front (queue is now past the door) I was sent back to the counter by the entrance by the man who'd asked me to go to the main counter in the first place, to a different person who 'knows where the bags are'. This person first tried to send me back to the main counter, then grabbed a few crumpled used coin bags and tried to give me them. I needed quite a lot more, and expected new bags so he reluctantly went back to the main counter, tells the first guy where the bags are, and eventually I get the bags (all they had - apparently). Whilst this was all going on another person was being given the same run-around between front and main desk with lots of parcels she had to move. It's shocking that banks are removing counter services and referring customers to such appalling and poorly managed post office counter services.

Never had a single positive experience in this branch in almost 8 years. Staff are slow and often rude. Even though today's opening hours were until 5:30, they closed at 5:20, and customers trying to leave had to wait to get out so that those trying to enter between 5:20 and 5:30 could not come in. The worst service I have ever experienced :(
