Roman Road Post Office

This has always been my local post office and don't normally write reviews, however I just want to say the staff have great customer service here. From the older guy with the glasses sitting on the left counter inside (so polite and friendly!) to both the younger guys working there. During this pandemic time, people are aware they occasionally have horrendously long queues up to 30-40 people waiting in line several times but they really make effort to get the queues moving quickly as possible (now utilising the front shop desk to take returns). There were a couple of times where I couldn't make it on time for the Saturday and had to resort to the one on Bow Road in Nisa Local but their service is a disgrace and rude staff members on both occasions. I rather wait in queue at this one and get served properly. Keep up the great work everyone!

Totally unprofessional. An animal can do a better job than those individuals who managed to get lost a parcel worth 2000 pounds! It will come in about a week and after nearly a month it's still lost. Service on the level of a third world country just like bangladesh and neighborhood countries. Well done keep it up the good work on stealing goods from others.

Gone downhill, the shop is non existent. Needs money pumped in. Also hit and miss staff

What type of Post Office does not remember to put a STAMP on a parcel! I am absolutely furious. I sent a parcel from here about 3 weeks ago and expected it to very much be on its way to Hong Kong by now. Imagine MY surprise when my parcel arrives back at my door...the post office had forgotten to put my stamp on. I went back today to ask that they reapply a stamp and was met with less than satisfactory service (they were really quite rude in fact) and despite having my ApplePay receipt of the payment, they would not accept that as a receipt and made me pay for a new one. BAD BAD SERVICE!

Although the queue is very long on most days, the staff are very helpful. Especially efficient and knowledgeable. But I must say the post office does look a little run down and needs updating.

Would give no stars if I could. Top up machine never working and they always open late and shut early. Waste of time coming here for anything. Staff flippant and rude

Nice little post office - always had good experiences here. But best to avoid lunchtimes and other busy times as the queue gets pretty long. Small selection of posty things like stamps, envelopes, tape, etc. Just on Roman Road near the A12 end
