The lady who was sitting in the shop section for printing charged 1pound just for one print and it was written clearly it was only 60pence.When asked about it she said some silly reasons which u doesn't care and then she made fun of us in her language thinking we don't understand .She even made fun of my friend asking how long we been in England.
We were in hurry that's the only reason we didn't responded to the comments made by that horrible lady eventhough we understood what she said in her language.
Do not go here!
I was sent from the counter to the back post office marked desks as the women advised they couldn’t help me due to “safety” reasons. One of the two ladies muttered something about Corona virus. This is obviously a cop out and they are poorly trained both in their roles and with customer service. They proceeded to speak in their native language about me and laugh in my direction as they saw me struggle.
To top off my terrible experience, there was an older staff member insisting me
To wear a mask before the restrictions even come into force. I luckily had one in my pocket and obliged. However I noted the two ladies at the counter were wearing theirs incorrectly with their noses hanging out. Again they both laughed at me while I got my mask out. After putting my mask on I noted that none of the back room staff had theirs on and a delivery man from Royal Mail came in without his on.
All in all I was appalled by the lack of customer service or care I received, and am saddened but not surprised to see the store managed in Royal Mail’s name in this way.
To the ladies at the desk - do better, be nicer, it costs nothing. (Although you’d probably charge extra for that too)
We were given a receipt which charged us £12.12 for what should have been £5.10. This was a significant difference so we went back to question the receipt. They realised they had given us a wrong receipt. And we were also under the impression that we handed over a £20 note so we asked for the remainder of the change. We then realised we actually handed the exact amount in cash and we settled the issue.
Bearing in mind we approached the issue in a calm and courteous manner we were received with so much contention!!!!
The two ladies at the till were adamant to prove that we were wrong even though they had made a mistake of giving the wrong receipt. They did not acknowledge their mistake and shifted the blame on us and they also spoke a lot in their language in our direction ?! Very RUDE!
Another lady who seemingly was in charge proceeded to accuse us aggressively “you were wrong Madam” and I confronted her saying in any case you shouldn’t say that to a customer especially as all we wanted was clarity. She proceeded to say “ Well she was quite angry” which was wrong to begin with and secondly very rich because yet again another dissatisfied black woman is being labelled as “ANGRY”. I told her no one was angry and she proceeded to say “Well we wasted her lunch time”! Excuse me ? This will have been avoided if you gave us the right receipt in the first place!
We then asked for the correct receipt and they said they don’t issue receipts for such transactions. We paid in cash and you should be able to produce a receipt for every transaction! Very suspicious!
This is the third time in this post office where we experienced such terrible service. The staff are very unprofessional and never willing to help. (Asked for glue before and was told to pay for a new one even though there was some to use behind the till) The space is so small and always very packed. It has never been a straightforward and smooth experience and this was the last straw.
WE DEFINITELY WILL NOT BE RETURNING AND THEIR SERVICE IS A BAD REFLECTION ON THE POST OFFICE AND ROYAL MAIL BRAND!
