Sydenham Post Office

I have been coming to this post office for a long time and must say that the staff here are not just professional, but lovely and kind and funny, building great friendships with their customers. They always go out of their way to help you, and work harder than anyone I have ever known in a post office. Quite often they don’t even get the chance to have their breaks and can at times have hoards of queues of people lining up along the street outside just to use their amazing services! They are always so nice and always dressed so well and the post office is always lovely and clean. I think has got to be the best post office I have ever used, in London let alone other places in England, and they always make my day when I visit, often chatting with me, when they have the time, about all kinds of topics which really make me smile when I leave. I would recommend this post office for any of your services and also the knowledge that there is nothing they do not know about the postal system which is brilliant when there are so many versatile reasons that I use this particular branch! Good on them all there! A brilliant service in my opinion!

The absolute worst post office in all Britain. The customer service is disgraceful. I went to complete my SIA license application and they asked for a physical document even though it doesn't ask for that in the website. Conveniently enough they had a printer service to charge me for the printing. Their system was down twice both times I went on 2 different days.

Years ago this post office was not a very pleasant place, however it has improved 100% operatives always accommodating, willing to assist, I visit there at least three times a week. Never felt have to complain.

This post office supported me brilliantly as I sent an application to renew my photocard license back to DVLA. They were able to advise and make the process seamless. Thank you so much to the staff who took care that things were done correctly!

Worse customer service to busy chatting to other staff no motivation to help. Gave the impression the service I was requesting was a hassle. Telling me something needed to be printed when clearly states you can use the document on my phone. Lazy, rude & unhelpful!!

Best Post Office in the area by a mile - members of staff are helpful, a good-natured, and patient. Turnover of customers is very fast, so even if you’re queueing to the door you won’t be waiting that long. It’s a big space so easy to socially distance if that’s what you need. The shop is well stocked for wrapping materials as well as loads of basic electronics like phone cables and chargers etc.

Always my go to Post Office :-)
