Whetstone Post Office

Not only have I had bad experiences here with the unnecessarily rude staff, but on one occasion they were so rude and derogatory towards my mother (who is the most polite, lovely woman, may I add!) that they brought her to tears!

The manager who is the worst culprit of them all, was verbally abusive and refused to serve her after she double checked that the photocopy was in colour and not in black and white - his reaction to this simple question was not normal at all and I think this man is extremely unstable.

I am disgusted by this behaviour and shocked that the same people are running this establishment after over a decade of terrible customer service.

I hope Royal Mail rectifies this so me and my mum can actually use the post office in our area and not one further away.

Always an incredibly friendly and helpful family run shop. As with most post offices they do get incredibly busy at peak times but I was advised to open a Drop and Go account (which I still haven't seen publicised anywhere by the Post Office itself) which allows me to jump the queues and leave my package to be dealt with at less busy times and I can pay my account in advance. The shop is useful for picking up those last minute bits and pieces for posting or the usual newsagents fare.

I only visited briefly to ask if they offer a Poste Restante service (they do not), but the service was polite (note that it was very quiet when I visited).

I still agree with my review from a couple of years ago. I’m so happy with the local post office. The staff are exceptional. They go above and beyond to make sure my post goes with ease and efficiency. They have been at the branch a little while now and have been extremely accommodating and friendly. I am in there everyday and use Drop and Go. They even call me to remind me to top up!! Amazing service

This is the best post office in North London by far - Staffed by friendly, helpful & efficient workers. Other local branches are listed as having photographic services to renew your driving license yet on arrival at the counter they no longer offer the service (Russel Lane) or have an excuse that their machine is not working (North Finchley). Whetstone Branch offers the service and delivers on arrival.

The staff are so kind Indian people. The Boss is very nice person. This branch is the best with friendly environment. Many Thanks to Patal from Jabarsin . My son little Jabasin also loves them so much.

Went in because I had a quick question about some notes and this rude lady said she wasn’t authorised to help me. When I asked her if she could go ask somebody who is authorised if they could help, she responded “that’s your problem”. This post office is known for being rude but this crossed the line and I’m not sure why that woman is working at the till if she’s going to behave like that and doesn’t know customer service, she just gave me a rude look and didn’t even bother asking someone who was less than 6 feet away
