Edgware Post Office

Miserable members of staff who dont treat everyone equal. The service is SLOW!! They sit at their desk doing nothing when there is a long cue. MARY IS A LOVELY MEMBER OF STAFF, however all the other ladies are discriminating, rude and unprofessional. Their attitude stinks and i would identify them but they do not wear name badge and refuse to say their name. Terrible

This short Asain lady refuse to serve me after I asked her name, because i didnt like her attitude. After this she leaves the desk, walks to the back of the shop and her colleague (short, round lady) came and started argueing with me. Assuming that I didnt have my ID, when i Did.

Went to the post office to submit my SIA badge application form and when I got there i got attended by the lady behind the glass counter. First of all extremely terrible service and very bad attitude she said I couldn't submit my form and that I had to book in a appointment. She booked me in and all she done was write on a note pad that im booked in. Now here is the problem i didn't get a paper with a confirmation, she wrote down on a pink note pad my appointment which the note pad could get lost so there for she could also forget herself i felt as if I was being rushed and she was also rude. If royal mail are going to employee these type of people I suggest you train them up on customer service skills because I am even ashamed to give this one star it deserve 0 stars. It's cold outside and I'm leaving my warm house to come to this terrible service I hope everyone reads this and is aware of what type of service you will be expecting when visiting this low standard royal mail. I am a very unhappy customer and I definitely will not be attenting this terrible post office again.

I use this post office almost everyday, stuff and managers are very polite and helpful. Keep up the good work 👍🏼

Very rude workers and not friendly.I really hate when I have to go to this post office to return or to send something… I hope they change the staff and management as soon as possible. 👎👎👎👎

If I could rate this place MINUS STARS I truly would. A lot of reviews on here already detail how TERRIBLE the customer service is, but let me really tell you in full detail what happened upon my last visit.

I came half an hour before closing, and it was just me and another customer. 3 counters each had 3 lady staff behind it. One counter displayed the closed sign, the other two did not. I'd like to clarify I saw both free counters were empty, and I walked through the queue bit towards the empty front counter. Turns out the other customer present was still being served, she'd just popped outside for a bit and i didnt see her. Which is fine, so i made my way back to the other seemingly available counter (no closed sign was on this one) and before i even got there, before i even uttered a single word, the lady behind that counter starts proclaiming shes closed, shes busy, and ordered me wait, all while raising her voice at me. She didn't need to shout. She could have just told me, sorry we are closing. Also, put a sign up saying your position is closed next time maybe?

But that's not all. The other woman in the glasses, she starts shouting at me too across the room! Why get involved? Shouted at me to wait, to be patient and that they're very busy. Tells me to stop running around. (which i was not?) They shouted at me infront of another customer. Why be so RUDE? Thats how they treated me, very CONDESCENDINGLY and HUMILIATING. There was no need to all gang up on me. Shouting at me like i was some criminal! It was DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE. DISGUSTING TREATMENT. People here need a crash course in how to talk to others. I would have definitely started something but I'm not going to cause i have things to send off and no doubt these women would not respond well to being challenged.

NEVER come here, I urge customers. Go somewhere else if you can. Londis have a post office down the road. If you need other special services though you'll have to hunt for another post office -AVOID this place until they've trained themselves better. Til they've learned to talk to customers. Til they stop being grumpy. Do better. They cannot act like they look down on others.

Sad that I will be avoiding coming here now as there is this lovely gentleman who works here and has always been helpful and I have always returned my items previously with no issues. I did not expect the other staff to treat me like this, I am in shock.

P.S: By the way, I've seen the responses the owner has to people who've rated them badly, and its clear they are not willing to change but tell us to find other branches. Not even a meaningful apology. All I'm saying is that that's a pretty good way to judge the character of this place- to the owner, my review isn't just for you, its for other customers also to decide if they wanna come :)

Very unprofessional, refuse to take a prepaid special delivery package, ask me to put into a letter box, the question is my package is too big to put into the letter box.
I can NOT see for what reason post office can refuse to take a prepaid special delivery package .

I had sent exactly same package at other post office with no problem at all, staff at this branch They really need training.

because It’s a COVID testing kit, it doesn’t meant it contains coronavirus.
