Was waiting for a parcel instead saw a red card with the time of 12.05pm which was left at around 9 am. No one rang the door bell. Booked for redelivery but online it mentions you can collect if the redelivery is for a later date. I went in and was told they cannot do anything as I have booked for redelivery. Thought I would drop off a parcel as I m going to the post office but was told to use another location as I wouldn’t be getting a receipt for the tracked return as I was late . The post office closes at 3pm on sat and I went in around 11.Anyways ended up going to another post office.

Really not sure why there is negative feedback on here, I have lived in Hornchurch for over 18years and have visited this Royal Mail frequently to collect my parcel. Service is always great and sure they don’t roll out the carpet for me but I don’t expect them to either!! . They provide an excellent service and I’ve never had any issues. Thank you for everything you do, much appreciated !

Hardly had any post in the past two weeks! Waiting for a letter which never arrived! Also one of my letters was torn open at one end and the main item removed! I think it's a disgrace! No doubt nothing will be done and it will just carry on being the same! Can't rely on Royal Mail anymore, such a shame!!

I have complained 3 times about my parcels being left outside my front door, and although the manager spoke to the post men in question it still happens. And I very lost several parcels this way. What extra money for wages is deserved

Not quite sure why they have such short opening hours? They used COVID as an excuse originally but being only 8-10am on a Monday morning is ridiculous especially after a weekend? Is there any point someone doing a 2 hour shift?

Current service is poor but still better than the alternatives who are working normally .the staff are under a lot of pressure at this time of year and with added pressure of job cuts and from what ive read a very ungenuine 9% pay offer which with all the changes in terms and conditions would really be a pay cut.
Keep up the good work and i hope we do not lose royal mail

I cannot believe in this day and age with all the technology that this sorting office / post office whatever you want to call it doesn't have a direct phone number. We have been waiting ages for our post, way before the strikes! Where is our post and why is postman not coming to our door? We have important letters that were posted that have not arrived at our front doors yet! This is ridiculous.

After reading previous reviews, I was not looking forward to picking up my mail, which hadn't been delivered for a week, due to staff shortages (Covid!). However, the service I received couldn't have been much better. I had to wait a short while after ringing the bell, but the lady brought my post and explained that some hadn't yet been sorted and, if it hadn't been delivered, to try again in a few days' time.
