Good luck finding somewhere to park to pick up your post. Absolute chaos.

Service is really poor, working hours to collect parcel are so funny, normally people are able to collect parcel after work which isn’t possible in this situation. Isn’t possible to contact with them to get any information, delivering post and parcel is so slow, now is more then a week without delivers in our address (I’m waiting for few things which should be delivered last week Tue-Wed and they are still haven’t been delivered)

UPDATE: Not even following the working hours displayed on the door (and website). Reading other reviews here, the 'unforeseen circumstances' message seen on the door for branch being closed in working hours is quite old. So really not unforseen then.

Ridiculous working hours!!! 2 hours a day?!

I was trying to send money to Australia through the post office ap and the staff member was very helpful on 2 occasions as Barclays Bank were not helpful. The staff always help but she was particularly helpful and my daughter has got the money. Thank you very much. Susan Fox

Always closed on the only day they open in the afternoon (Thursday) which is the only time I can go to collect a parcel. They keep putting excuses such as “shortage of staff” or “everyone is sick”. Terrible service!

Open 14 hrs a week to collect. The one day the opened in the evening has now been shut but no need to update Google maps about it. Instead put an a4 piece of paper outside the door so you'll find out about that when you arrive. Jokers!

In a nutshell: the manager is on a power trip and decides who he deems worthy to receive their post; and someone in the sorting office likes to open post if they think no-one is going to pick it up, which is completely illegal.

I moved into a local guardianship, which is where an old property is rented out and becomes legal accommodation to rent-paying licensees. I had ordered things that I needed urgently, and none of them were arriving; I went to sorting office and the manager demanded to see my passport to prove I lived there - which I had not yet updated, though I had utility bills and other documentation which is legally binding in any other circumstance. I also had the red missed delivery slip, but it was not enough for him. Eventually, after much insistence on my part, he agreed to attempt to deliver my post the next post day so long as I was sat outside the property waiting for him with the door open, proving I had access to the property - utterly absurd, all because he wanted to be the gatekeeper of who lived where in the community. This was after weeks of going to the sorting office and trying to get the post addressed to me that was sitting there.

This wouldn't be so bad, if not for the fact that prior to this, I had gone a different day and managed to get a more junior member of staff when the manager wasn't there to look out back to see what items were out back with my name on them. She went and came back with two of my items - and she was very apologetic and confused to find that they had both been opened. Because the staff didn't believe anyone lived at the property, they had been opening post to see what goodies were in there for them - the contents were important to me, but thankfully worthless to them. I lived there for a year longer and never left this review because I didn't think it wise to aggravate someone who takes it upon themselves to arbitrate delivery and open other's post, but now I'm gone I can look back at how disgraceful the conduct of the manager at the office is.

I actually was in when this parcel was attempted to be delivered, but the postman/woman who 'knocked' on the door was so insanely aggressive I genuinely though someone was trying to kick the door down. It was stupidly loud. They could not have knocked with their knuckles, rather with their fist several times, I was expecting someone to shout "POLICE!!!" it was so loud. I even hid. Very scary and now I have to find time to collect during their ridiculous 2 hour time slot...
