Meopham Station Post Office

My experience today was good. The member of staff was pleasant and helpful.

It can't be easy having to shift between 2 tills constantly, with one line forming for the post office counter and one for the general goods counter. The staff here are under a huge strain doing this but try their best. They deserve respect.

Rang to find out if accepting parcels on Xmas eve. Confirmed yes by very nice female member of staff but not actually posting until the next Wednesday. Arrived to be told by the tall male member of staff that the post office was closed and not accepting parcels.

Went into Gravesend post office and the staff there said that Meopham should have been providing the same service as Gravesend PO. IE accepting parcels until closing of shop. Il stick to going into Gravesend in future

Sent some parcels off second class not too long ago and each parcel cost £3 each to send. They were completely different weights. The lightest item which was a top costed the same as the heaviest item. Wouldn’t come back again.
