North Parade Post Office

This post office is closed more often than it’s open the staff are clearly about as reliable as a bike with no wheels. It’s embarrassing, there are plenty of people who want a job so time to hire new staff!

Need to update your opening hours. Be careful as this place closes earlier than stated. I would call ahead to make sure they are open if going in the evening or go to another Post Office

Absolutely the worst postoffice I've ever been to. They open and close whenever they feel like, they lose parcels and then not able to do anything due to their 20th century admin methods. They shouldn't be allowed near any letters or parcels let alone running a postoffice. It's a joke.

since the post office lost all it staff bar one that is now part time they really dont know what there doing and always closed because there short staff.

got to say this is the most unreliable post office that i know its been shut more then its been open no staff what is going on??

its closed at the busiest times and shut in the afternoon and only open in the morning not to sure what the future holds as mccolls in administration and they share the same leasing,

If you’re planning to come here from 1300-1400 don’t bother it will be closed as they will be at lunch during the busiest times.

Typically was fine with service. Although I don't visit at peak hours. Please note this Post Office opens at 9am earliest. Not 6:00 am as suggested here. Please update. Picture of opening hours as of today attached.

Incredibly rude man working in the post office today. No manners at all. He told my friend to put her phone’s brightness up without a please and even shook his head and tapped the end of his fingers on the desk as she did so. It feels as if I am bothering him every time I take a parcel
there. Not sure how he is still in a customer facing job.

They seem to open and close as they please. The opening hours on the website aren't correct, they're never open that late, they have printed their own version of the opening hours and taped it to the glass window inside but can't even adhere to their own choice of hours. Shocking. They decided to close an hour early today and send everyone away despite a queue of people standing in the shop waiting. It's only getting one star because I can't give it less. I had been in the queue for quite a while with at least 4 more customers behind me and he very rudely turned us all away. If you're going to provide such a god awful service just don't bother and close permanently.

Was verbally abusive calling me names like “I’m not serving this idiot” aswell as saying “I’m not human” after not caring that he didn’t have a “break & wasn’t feeling well” & felt the need to take that out on me (the customer) when it’s his managers responsibility to care for his well-being - which clearly they don’t.

He also immaturely shut down the Post Office & they closed the whole shop & resigned acting like a child on the spot, leaving myself & other customers confused, appalled by this behaviour & forced to go to the other nearest local one.

I visit a couple weeks later & he’s back behind the counter after resigning? Also Gave me dirty looks.. & there is a queue of post office customers & only him behind the Mcolls shop till (post office counters are empty)
whilst we all stand waiting for service & wasting our time waiting.

A woman mentioned to me he incorrectly filled out a package to Spain in which she has to repay the fee to have it filled out correctly as he clearly can’t do his job properly.

I’m sure there’s loads of people needing jobs for you to be hiring 1 member of staff??

Considering he has mental health issues and needs proper help.

Sort out your staff!

This stressful experience has left me Not feeling comfortable to visit this store ever again with the atrocious customer service standards they deliver.

Would avoid here!!
& visit Tesco Post office Hook road - much nicer staff & customer service.
