Higham Lane Post Office

Excellent service , Long hours open from 7am, convenient

Sent a certified copy of my daughter’s law degree tracked to her as she lives in South Korea, the mature lady working there sent it to USA and is currently sitting in BRAZIL!, cost me £70 for this document, I have been refunded my £7.75 but was asked was I sure I didn’t say USA! Surely you read the address on the envelope !! Don’t use this post office to send important documents.

The post office is in rather a shabby state of repair, very squashed in and usually a long queue. I've just tried to phone them but have given up after 3 attempts with no one answering the phone.

The staff are very respectful and helpful, I have never had any issues here

We went there on the 14th of December 2021, I don't know the gent's name but I guess he was the manager. I was sending masks to my mum and he helped me a lot with choosing the service. Super polite and really a great guy!

Went with a parcel to post today. It is officially a small parcel. Unhelpful man told me it was too big - he said his computer told him that - and I would have to take it to the sorting office in the town centre. This despite having seen people on other occasions with much larger parcels. Went to the sorting office in town, waited ages in the rain and the staff told me he was lying and of course he could have taken the parcel. Unhelpful and obstructive jobsworth who is a waste of space.

So ignorant and rude. May get a grunt from them if youre lucky. Both him and his wife don't speak. No please, thanks or a bye.
The shop is not clean and disorganised.
Had stale milk and the bag of sugar was rock hard and damp. Never going in the shop again. Rather travel to get what I need.
