Post Office Leighton Buzzard

Went into the post office and asked would they accept 3 large parcels. 2 woman serving, one said yes. Other woman heard said nothing. I could have them delivered there for up to 3months. Just bring id. When my parcels came they refused them. Reason was they were not being delivered by royal mail. They dont accept other postal services. Dont know if this is just Leighton buzzard or all post offices. Never had that problem before. Caused me heaps of problems and almost cost me some business. As this was a stock delivery.

You're back in the 1970s.
The longer the queue, the more likely they are to shut another kiosk.
Once you get to speak to the staff, they are really really helpful and kind.

Large Post Office in town centre
Staff friendly and usually short queues during the day. Busier on weekends but not too bad.
Two machines for sending yourself .
plenty of retail packaging to buy and a few special coin and stamps sets can be bought to.
Recommended.
Edit Oct 2022 - often very long queues with only one or two people serving. Shuts early with no warning.

I use this post office regularly & always get brilliant service.

Polite and efficient staff, usually not very busy.

They close three hours before time on Saturdays 😳. Why

I was served by a very rude blonde lady. Despite doing her job, she refused to answer one of my very reasonable questions and made my experience in this post office unpleasant.

I've used first and last time royal mail service to deliver glass item - it was delivered in pieces, item was securly packed with bubble wrap and labeled FRAGILE all around ... delivered smashed to pieces - see picture.

Absolutely disgusting service !!!
Waste of time and money !!!

I DO NOT RECOMMEND Royal Mail to anyone to deliver your package that contain glass !!!
