Thornton Post Office

Called in here with parcel on saturday. Lady was so helpful and pleasant. Lucky Thornton residents !! I wish the people in my post office on the wirral were as nice.

I arrived at the post office on the weekend at 10am to tax my car, the lady told me at 10 am she wasnt hanging around, even though i told her my partner had ran to the end of the road where i live to collect the relevant document while i filled in a form as we didnt realise we needed this certain paper work. She then a few minutes later, advised me she wasnt waiting. I didnt once ask her to wait, and had already advised her 2 times previously my partner had only got down the road , we still had 25 minutes? After 5 minutes my partner returned with the correct document and we went through the procedure , to then be told oh it's not working she didnt want to keep trying and clearly was just in a rush she didnt want to give advice nor did she want to be polite about it. Very inpatient and lacked customer service skills because she had somewhere else to be. She had a service to provide but spent more time worrying about her finish time. All I wanted was to tax my car, I've had to take the bus today and half a day off work due to having to go to another post office who could not believe this couldn't be done yesterday because I provided the same new keeper slip! All the did was scan it and off I went? Thanks for your poor customer service and thanks for your impatience, hopefully you enjoyed your weekend. Next time I will give at least 2 hours before closing time so that I'm not an inconvenience!

Only given a 1 star as cant give a no star. Twice i have been in this post office and unimpressed of the service here. Today was the worst. I went to drop off a parcel that i had already paid postage on through royal mail online and printed off the label and put it on. Expecting just to drop it off, i got there for my parcel to be refused. Why? You have to take it to royal mail as you have paid for click and drop. I check my email and royal mail says you can drop off at any local post office. I dropped it off at the next post office i passed and posted it with no hassel. That post office didnt even know postage products. All they had to do was scan the barcode on pacel. Never going there again.

I travel from Netherton to use this post office.Lovely friendly girls who have always got a kind word to say to everyone.

I have never known such a bad attitude as the blonde woman behind the counter in this shop.

I was in hurry and needed an envelope, I wanted to write the address of the person on the envelope, insert the contents and post it...

She was FAR to interested in getting my 50p first for the envelope... as if I was going to take the envelope and run out of the shop.

I have just started a business where I will be posting a large amount of packages all around the world, on a regular basis... I will NEVER use this post office again.

Horrible woman

Avoid this post office- Served by the most rude worker, a really bad attitude. Worst customer service I have ever had, if you're dealing with the public you should be helpful and pleasant hence why its not the job for the majority of the staff who work there.

CAROLINE IS THE ONLY ONE WITH EXTREMELY BAD ATTITUDE AND IS HORRIBLE TO ME BY BEING SARCASTIC AS I GOT A TRANSFER WRONG,SHE IS VERY CHATTY TO THE ELDER CHAPS BUT WEN I COME IN ITS LIKE BEING SPOKE TO LIKE ATILLA THE HUNN AND SHE MAKES ME FEEL AWEFULL,AND YES I DO SUFFER A MENTAL ILLNESS....SHE IS ARROGANT AND VERY SNOTTY......PROBABLY COMES FROM BOOTLE.......

Fantastic post office very friendly and helpful not sure what post office the one Star reviewers went too but I highly recommend this post office
