Leek Post Office

A superb, brightly lit, well organised new Post Office in a very convenient spot. Helpful, cheerful staff process the queue quickly & effectively. All the extras anyone could want are all at hand. All in all, a First Class replacement for the old office.

I have been excited for my upcoming holiday for quite some time however this week my wallet has been lost/stolen with documents I will need. Chris & Chris a truly wonderful duo who clearly love their job and care about there customers could tell I was stressed and despite the post office being busy spent the time with me to piece together the information I had to see what they could do to assist. Complimented me on my young looks on my photo ID I had and have managed to sort out my dilemma. I have learned three things 1. Always keep your wallet extra safe 2. Don’t leave things until last minute. 3. The leek post office is filled with dedicated enthusiastic staff who have a laugh and clearly love what they do with no problem to big or small for them to deal with. I will definitely use the post office more in future and if you are unsure if your problem can be solved go and ask them. Even if they can’t help they are so knowledgeable they will be able to offer advice to assist.

went in to make passport applications for both of us, not a speedy job, of course. Greatest thanks to Chris for getting us through the process with patience, kindness and humour, she's one in a million.

Awful service standing in a queue whilst one cashier was working and 2 talking about personal life.
After 10 minutes the one cashier asked the talking one to serve after I complained about my wait whist she was talking she decided to charge me extra for my pre paid parcel and I know it was because I complained it was 250 grams when I weighed it at home but she claimed it was 251how petty.

Thanks for your reply would you not rather address the issue rather then telling me to go elsewhere?

I went to this branch yesterday at 4.30 ish. I was struggling with an 18KG parcel and I was waiting for ages. Even though the staff was just looking at paperwork, non one of them said I could come forward and just place it on the counter or anything, I get it’s close to closing time but it just wasn’t nice.

Called in on 29/11/22 to renew my passport it was busy and had to wait a little while, it took the very pleasant cashier around 7 to 10 minutes to do my photo and application, excellent service.
Bonus my new passport arrived on 2/12/22

Bought a gift today which has been personally delivered to my home tonight and they even found the original box. Served and delivered by a very friendly lady. Excellent*****

Had a great experience with Chris who helped me check I had everything to change my name and photo on my passport. She was really helpful and thorough and my passport came through only a week later!
